Glen Luff from Champion Data has ranked Carlton's list as one of the worst he has seen in his 20 years of doing data. We are ranked 18th for players aged in the age bracket of 21-25 and 18th for players in the 25-29 age bracket. 17 players from other clubs adds up to 40% of the playing list which is more than 2004 when Pagan went on his recruiting spree.
We are going to be in the wilderness for the rest of this decade or unless the coaches can fast track the development of the young players. We are seriously going to be non-competitive in 2016.

I am a blues man but I am seriously thinking we could go through the whole 2016 season without winning one game. We have no depth and a truckload of cast offs from other clubs which does not bode well for 2016. The kids are going to take time to develop and we need another 2-3 drafts before we assemble a team that can come through together when Cripps hits his peak at 24-25.
