I thought we looked a lot more open down forward and think having Phillips out helped with that.
Casboult played one of his best games.

I think our offensive press is great. There will come a time where we score more often from F50 entries.

Gibbs frustrates me. He steps over the line to avoid contact and gives away a free and then he plays a game like the game he played today. He gets caught HTB and then he does what he did getting free.

That tackle of his in the last was a ripper. Great to see.

We used the corridor better.

Byrne will play a lot of footy for us.

Thanks for saying all that for me.

How good is the work rate of Wright and Kerridge. They have really brought effort into this side. Armfield important too.

These blokes are all work horses.

Armfield's pace always does something good for us.
He closes down space. Whereas Gibbs shepherds space.

Workhores. Add the names Curnow, Cripps, Simpson, Murphy Docherty Byrne Thomas.
They would die for their team mates right now. And theyre just ther midfelders. Makes everyone stand tall.

We stood tall against a taller team.

Simmo & Doc. MASSIVE.
Curnow, Cripps, Gibbs & Levi. So good.

Must say, enjoying my time at the football is still foreign feeling and I don't feel comfortable until we're 3 goals up with 15 seconds to go.

Aint that the truth.

Its very different. Foreign is a good word.

Don't worry about the Pies. They traded their 2016 & 2017 1st round picks to GWS for Treloar :screwy: :screwy: :screwy:

The scary thing is that the worse that Collingwood does, the higher pick GWS gets.

On the upside Collingwood is completely [REDACTED] for the next 2 drafts

Its OK GWS will trade us that first rounder for 2 second rounders or something as equally stupid because it will be more points for them

If it's a top 4 pick and we're not quite bottom four, that might be a struggle unless we can secure a pick in the second half of the first round.

Also we'd want more picks in the top 30, not less.

Fewer, jimmae, not less.

It was 2015 and 2016 drafts. You can only trade for the next years draft to save clubs from stupid decisions.
Its OK, Collingwood got a jet out of it. We have used first round picks for a lot worse

You're also blocked from trading out other picks if you trade out your first rounder, and blocked from trading out your first rounder if you trade out other picks.

I'm assuming that's lifted if you trade in another first rounder, etc.

Brisbane pulled a shifty on this mummy's boy. We dodged a bullet if we had any interest, which I am now doubting.

Clubs can only trade one year into the future, and must make at least two first-round draft picks in each four-year cycle.

Kane looked a lot better before he was drafted.
