Dangerfield had 21 in round 1, Parker 20 in round 1, Cunnington 23 in round 1.

Lachie Neale currently on 18 at 1/2 time.

Last time we won 5 in a row was during a block where we won 13 in a row... in 2000.

I thought we looked a lot more open down forward and think having Phillips out helped with that.
Casboult played one of his best games.

I think our offensive press is great. There will come a time where we score more often from F50 entries.

Gibbs frustrates me. He steps over the line to avoid contact and gives away a free and then he plays a game like the game he played today. He gets caught HTB and then he does what he did getting free.

That tackle of his in the last was a ripper. Great to see.

We used the corridor better.

Byrne will play a lot of footy for us.

Everitt started so well but ended so badly. He created two 12 point plays against basically in the last qtr. He looked disinterested afterwards also, barely chased once possession was lost. Nearly very costly.

Need Simmos highlights posted. One of his best games and that's saying a lot. He was sensational. I'd put it up there with Judds final qtr against the swans.

Curnows game in Treloar pivotal. 13 tackles- take a bow

Casboult- what a game. He roamed up ground more, needs to do that weekly.

Kreuzer- gotta the better of an inform ruck. Maybe one ruck is the go. Set the tone from first bounce.

Docherty is following in Simmos foots steps, there are a lot of similarities there

Lamb a smart footballer, so too Sumner, getting better every week with match fitness.

Walker was disappointing. Rushed back in by the looks of it.

Didn't agree with the three key back match ups but who am I to question the defence that is doing well for most. Just thought Plowman would of been better on Moore, seem to be too fast for Jamo & Rowe, and white too strong one on one against Plowman.

Very happy with last years additions. Coaches & players.

Gun, and an absolute inspiration. Should have been captain 3 years ago and should be now.

All of you dissenters.....@#$%&! off!!!

Put your hand up if you've written Old Man Simpson off at anytime over the last 4 years.

If you've written him off and you didn't put your hand up, @#$%&! off.

If you've written him off and you did put your hand up, @#$%&! off slightly less.

He bleeds blue and has been an amazing player. About to step pass some of our greats in terms of games played. It's such a shame he hasn't had the opportunity to play more finals.

The only good thing Malthouse can claim to have done was moving Simmo to half-back.

Most of the my favourite Carlton players have been the courageous, head over the ball types. Guys like Hunter, Silvagni and Teague were courageous running with the flight into marking contests. Simmo lacks nothing when it comes to courage in comparison to these guys.

He has been immense for us, and a shining light in the darkest years. Great pre season really shows and his fitness level through extra running training meant he was able to go on those dazzling runs when most others were spent in the last. Extremely courageous and certainly deserves his place as one of the CFC greats :donk:

Well done son.

Right up there for mine. Fantastic today.

Yep, gotta love the way he goes about it. Not the fastest, but a good football brain. As Jack Dyer used to say "It's no good being where the football aint".

Was going to say something similar. I looooooovvvvveeeee this guy

BOG for mine. Watch the game again. He was EVERYWHERE doing EVERYTHING

I'm starting to believe Simmo has gone to a new level because he knows that Doc has got the backline's back when he goes off on a run or provides an exit option

Docherty is EASILY the most improved player this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, I'm not a Casboult fan per se but yesterday, he played his best game for Carlton. 2nd ruck/forward...many of us have been saying it. It improved Kruezer's game as well

And, Gibbs is making an impact finally...Play him up forward more and you'll comfortably get 35-40 goals out of him

I also heard Trigg on SEN. Don't care about his blunder at Adelaide. Everyone makes mistakes. He was really impressive...and the way he spoke about SOS' vision for list management, the more I believe that a great Carlton man with a niche skill set has come back to the club he loves to improve our haemmorhaging list

Look at GWS vs GC and you can see what SOS has done compared to whatshisface at Carrara
