Shame about Phillips....he's been getting better each week. Walker and Everitt give flexibility and scoring power if both play mostly forward as you'd expect. We'll go close if we maintain our defensive systems and keep them under pressure

We def did not look as steady when JW went down... His stability will be missed.

We can still win Walker and Everitt are hit and miss picks... Would have preferred Bucks ahead of Walker.

KJ surely has to be close.

Big game from Kreuzer required - hopefully the full time ruck suits him. Phillips really showed some afl quality last weekend.

Graham is stiff. Look at his stats in the 2nd half last week. Maybe it is a decoy for the kerridge injury
Walker and Everitt give us the movement in the forward line, we have been missing

Thought the filth might have brought back Cloke this week....looking at that backline I think Reid may spend some time down forward and kick his usual 3-4 when that happens.

Extremely short back line we have

I'm not worried about our lack of height in defence. They have to get the ball down their first to be any concern.

Our defensive structure across the ground has been good recently.

This could be another ugly game where we trap them have 1000 forward 50 entries and win 67 to 53

Well, we've come in from $3.40 to $2.45 since the teams were released, must be something to like.
Looking at that lineup, I would say Walker and Everitt would be our most likely goal kickers, so they're pretty handy inclusions.
I think we'll be much better balanced with the one ruckman. Should have plenty of run.
Big game for Kreuzer. Everyone says he needs to ruck solo. This is his chance to prove he's still the number one big dog cause Phillips looks to be ahead in my eyes

Everitt has caused me as much frustration and anger in the last 12 months as Jones. He needed to kick a century last year to break even for his extremely ordinary defensive efforts and lack of competitiveness generally. And he didn't kick a century. Seriously, if you can stand the pain of watching last year's games again, you'll see a bloke who consistently let his mates down when the heat was on. 30 goals from 22 games playing inside forward 50 does not excuse a multitude of sins. It's not often I rant about one of our players, but he got away with murder last year IMO.

The new coaching staff have at least got some improvement out of Jones, let's hope Everitt has now bought in after a spell in the VFL.

Everitt was terrific in his first year with us in 2014 until he got injured towards the end of that season. Since then, he was been a downhill skier.

Prove me wrong Dre! :fight:
