Dropping like flies at the moment. Maybe Casboult can be the second ruck and Jaksch can come in as a forward.

Perfect plan IMO.

Kedge has hammy in compression bandage in pic he posted on Insta today.
You'd assume Crippa comes straight in for him. Means Graham will probably play on ball more like last week.

If Phillips doesn't come up - push Levi into more roaming/2nd ruck, let Kreuz do 80% of ruck where he thrives and bring KJ or Tex in.

If Buckley & Cripps need another week, but Boekhorst, Walker & Whiley are available....

Out : Kerridge (inj), Phillips (inj), Weitering (inj)
In : Boekhorst, Jaksch, Walker

B: Tuohy Rowe White
HB: Byrne Plowman Docherty
C: Simmo Graham E Curnow
HF: Thomas Jaksch Wright
F: Lamb Jones Walker

R: Kreuzer Gibbs Murphy

Inter: Armfield, Boekhorst, Casboult, Sumner

Casboult to play as 2nd ruck/forward. Jaksch & White may need to swap if we're losing the midfield battle and our backline is getting exposed for height.

Even if Jamo is cleared to play (he was concussed in the VFL last week), I'm not sure he is a walk up start for selection. Rowe & Plowman are playing better than him. You could have Jamo in the side instead of Jaksch or White, but I've gone for the extra versatility.

I thought about bringing Whiley straight in because we need another inside mid, but ultimately I guess I just don't rate him. I reckon we'd be better off going for the run provided by Boekhorst (who was in pretty good form before his injury).

If Walker needs a run in the VFL (he has missed a lot of footy), then Everitt comes in.

I don't think Cripps will need another week. Bolton said he probably could have played last week but they preferred not to risk him. You would think another week rest and he should be fine. Guess we'll find out tomorrow

Like it

KJ, 1AW, Cripps in

Weitering,Phillips,Sumner? out

Not keen on dropping sumner. He's shown plenty. Missed a lot of footy and needs games

Unless Sumner is injured too, there is no valid reason to drop him.

Perfect.
Hope this is what happens.
Won't be. But hope it is!

Not the news I want against Pies.
Wish we had a full list this weekend especially.
Three in a row after discarding 15 players from the bottom of the ladder team....dreams are made of this.

Kerridge will be missed badly. Cripps would be a straight replacement.

It would be good to see what Kreuzer does on his own. Lets see if that is the tonic.
Philips has been getting better by the week. Agree Cas can 2nd ruck for 20%.

IF Tex is fit it doesn't mean he's in form, but an inform Tex this weekend....dreams are made of this.

Graham was OK with his hands in close, but struggles against pace.
Wouldn't ne surprised if the MC went with Buckley's pace over Graham as they had previously.

Come on Bluebaggers...I'm dreaming of greatness...as the Phoenix rises.

I'm expecting Everitt will play.

I think the penny must have dropped when he had to return through the VFL, in form, from effort.

Bolton will win the mind games with Everitt or Everitt fades away.

Going by JFs review of Everitt his effort was good defensively and offensively

Would think Everitt will come in. He's a goal kicker, we haven't many of them.

I would be very surprised if they brought Walker straight back in ... has been out for a while and needs a run with Northern first.

Personally I don't care if he plays or not this week, what's most important is that we promote his best long term interests. If he's 100%, that's great - play him. I just don't want us to risk any of our young guns for a match that's really nothing more than game 7 of a 66 game process....

If Philips is out its a great chance to trial one ruck with Levi as relief. I think that's what most of us have wanted to see all season. Allows us to bring in a more versatile tall to play forward, either Everitt or Jaksch, hopefully McKay down the track a little
