"On the aggregate?"

Rob Sitch and co would have a lot of fun with you...

How else am I to describe running loads across multiple games? :P

Genuinely, the Gold Coast game is the only time the kid has broken out into a sweat; he's almost too fit for his position on the field.

You could just have said that to begin with.

Instead you chose to go with jargon which aligned you with Rudd/Gillard/Rudd/Abbott/Turnbull/yahdeyahdeyahdeh...

We can choose whether to be thick or not thick.

It is actually a choice.

Making loud, though obscure and complex noises is not a reflection of intelligence.

The post would have been three times as long as I explained what specifically I thought affected the amount of ground he was covering, the average speed, etc (which clubs soak up data for via the GPS tags in their jumpers), then there would have been two or three people commenting that I'm an obtuse over-intellectualising dingus instead of just you.

With all due respect to your usual contributions (and there is some), your post is extremely ironic.

Ha. Top guy's an idiot IMO. But Chamberlain's a good umpire. Seems to get the game and is pretty consistent.

I doubt they'll cost us the game. We should be 10 goals ahead by half-time, and leave nothing open for them.

Surely you jest Mosh?
PS...Read your bio a while ago. I too was studying Mathematics at LaTrobe in the early 80s
Were you taught Pure Mathematics by the late and great Arthur Jones??

I knew Arthur Jones well. He taught me in first year, but it was a bit earlier than you - 1972. I didn't know he'd died. Lovely bloke.... And very shy if I recall.

According to AFL tables we havent beaten the drugcheats since 2013. Disgusting. not confident about this game at all.

If we do win it will be a solid step forward.

Assume you are making a pun on the article title.
I thought it was great to see some simple stats indicating we are heading in the right direction, or just playing differently to support what it looks like at the ground/on TV. Sometimes, improved enthusiasm with a new coach can mask limited progress from a game style perspective.
e.g. I always thought Port Adelaide's massive improvement in 2014 was mostly due to Hinkley convincing his players and the rest of the league that they were the fittest team in the comp. This was a largely mental achievement which wore off once others realised that they were also elite athletes with mature fitness programs and were therefore probably just as fit...

ANYWAY, I enjoyed reading that and would have liked a bit more.
Will be interesting to see who we replace Buckley with. Boekhorst? Graham? Tutt?
And whether we make any other changes.
I am personally happy to keep KJ in the VFL for a good few weeks - needs to appreciate that it's not just about reaching a certain level. It is about sustaining that level, fighting for it every week.... which is how Cripps elevated his game last year, how Weitering has arrived looking like he belongs and how the likes of Judd performed as well and consistently as he did.

If we play like we did against Richmond - with a bit more polish - I think we can tear them apart.

If Tuohy is retained (bad luck for Dick whose also been in good form in NB's) I hope he doesn't give away silly free kicks and he steps up. He's looked like an old man. He's lost a yard on last year...and as a result, he's shitting me atm.

Dick hasn't been that good for the Ants. Still doesn't attack and makes mistakes. In the air he has been a bit better than last year. I'd stick with Touhy.

Thanks for the feedback.
Interesting that Dick has been listed in the Best players and in tweets seems to be accumulating a lot of disposals, so he's in the game a bit.
I see Dick as an attacking HB, and if he isn't doing that then he's not the one to replace Tuohy.

Tuohy has done SFA in 5 games thus far.
But if he is retained (because no one knocking on the door) he better be more disciplined and more committed to running hard and getting that nut without turnovers than he has in 2016.
If he puts in another lazy effort I'm going to turn on him like I did with Jammo 3 years ago, and recently Everitt. Only committed players taking us forward will do, and we HAVE TO BEAT BUMBERS this weekend.

Hoping Tuohy is a hero with a couple of goals from outside 50. :gift:

That's not accurate, we lost to them both times in 2013 by a kick.
There really is no worse feeling in the football year than being at the G and losing to Essendon* by under a goal, hearing their song and watching the red
and black jump up and down like wild meth users on the crash. No offense meant to meth users.

The last time we beat them was in the second half of 2012. Smashed them actually.
All their pin cushioned, concrete ass pumping players had succumbed to soft tissue injuries by that stage.

I hate them. And my stomach is starting to feel weird as it always does leading into games against them.

Go Blues!

Speaking of shit articles, this from the HUN.

Early Mark: Punters back Essendon* to defeat Carlton, GWS upset on cards

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/f ... 102529c1c1

Punters are backing the cheats at $3.10 - not under $1.90, or, maybe they're backing them at the line of -20?

Maybe they're prepared just to 'punt' - i don't know, but the Blues are still favourites at $1.37

Kreuzer should be on his last chance.

Take marks around the ground and link up... or you'll have to go back to basics in the NB's
