I have been iffy about Wright till I see something that really stamps his ability, desire and that there's something Navy Blue in that ticker. That pressure act was enough for me to become a fan.

I thought the perspective was that they have been the Team with highest Win/Loss ratio in the AFL these past 3 years and they played off in a Prelim last year. Plus in WA they are a 6 goal better team. On their best days in 2015, without those 4 players, they would still beat us by 10 goals on their home ground.

We are a bottom of the ladder team who played on shear guts, very little talent and a poorly functioning F50.

That's perspective.

Don't suppose you happen to know the tool responsible for that do you?

I can only make suggestions. After that not much I can do about it.

Glad you said that Cazz. I know, as most do you are not In Charge of Drafting and Draft night, and glad you make that clear.

I know you bleed Navy Blue like the rest of us.
We all wish things went our way in the past 15 years but they are done and dusted.
We have a coach with a game plan, and know what we need to add value to this list...for the first time in 15 years.
Good luck. I think luck will be on our side now that the club is changing its 'ways'.

My household still hasn't come down from the high of a hard fought slog.
Excitement and relief.

Great game plan. A plan which has led to the lowest scores against Carlton I can remember.
I'm still blown away with the effort.

The highs were plenty throughout. I loved the ssprinting back to defence when we lost the ball.
On TV it seemed like an army sprinting back to save mates.

Best game I've seen from Rowe. Even better than his 2 beauties in 2014.

Really sad to see Kreuzer have no impact.
Yes he tried and he battled non stop...like a player picked in the 60's but trying to hold his spot.
Philips, Sumner and Jones were also quiet.
Tuohy makes too many mistakes week in week out and soundly beaten imo.
Jones can be forgiven with his 2 MATCH WINNING GOALS.

Said it at 3 quarter time it will be the fitness of Curnow and Kerridge that can win it for us, and the strength of Cripps.
They were all great but it was a huge team effort.

Murphy's 1st quarter set the tone.
Our defense is nearly set in stone for the next 5 years with Weitering Plowman Docherty and Byrne.
We need to find classy replacements for Simpson and Rowe over the next 2 years.....Glass is coming along nicely in the NB's.

177 tackles in the game, 77 outs. Can see why it was a bit of a slog fest.

I feel great for Jones. Let's see if that can kick start his career, stepped up big time and won us the game.

Wright was simply awesome all game, that smother and feed to Murphy was a highlight that should be shown to our young players regularly.

I think Charlie ended up head banging to the song because he wasn't sure of the words.

Maybe the salt and cold spray from the Gatorade took him back to a simpler time when he was surfing in the morning and definitely not sinking tinnies with the boys

Delisted free agent.

Originally a late rookie selection for the Crows, so he's always had to earn his keep .

He and Lamb are real effort footballers and smart.

Perhaps if you had a tool........ like a hammer, you could bang the table a little more loudly when you make your suggestions.

Or maybe you could have got your hammer and hit Shane Rogers and Wayne Hughes over the head with it.

Agree, he has been great. He also cost us nothing trade wise which is even better.

Spare me the history Cazz.

That history means jack shit ON THE DAY of the game.

I was just making a point that not only did they have two big names out, but also suffered some injuries during the game which not only gives us personnel advantages but disrupts their structures. The game was up for grabs and we took it. Like I said in my first line..."great win"
