Would have been an even better game if he got a fair go from the maggots, he was reamed.

Thought the same thing...they hated him

Out: Phillips, Buckley
In: Armfield, Boekhorst

I'd like to see Jaksch and DVR getting a call up, but this isn't the week to make too many changes. Reward those who got us the win this week.
Would make the Phillips/Armfield change for team balance and to get some more speed in our forward half. Pressure on the ball carrier against Essendon* will be crucial, as they'll continually cough it up if they're under the pump.
Boekhorst back if fit, I think he's just simply a more superior player than Buckley.

That's because they cheated, it's as simple as that.

I'm pretty sure they played us before Anzac day in 2012. Could be wrong about that.

I like Phillips. Seem to be in minority there.
Would not drop K either..
Would prefer Walks to Casboult up forward ..dont mind Levi further down field..like Daisy forward and he appears to thrive there.
Have always liked watching Bucks.if we persist with Cas. Then we should with Bucks too.
He has to learn to run fast and think at the same time.
He will / should replace Army eventuaĺly and I expect him to be really good in time..Cas?..he needs hypnotherapy.
Tough decisions for match committee this week.

I don't think Buckley is a superior player at all.

Phillips has been better than Kruezer and is also very young in ruck and games experience. The games he is getting right now are invaluable. The kid is athletic and versatile, he'll come good. I think Kruezer is down in confidence, so he'll turn it around. He gets his hands on so much ball but just doesn't complete the marks. Once he takes a couple of those his confidence will lift and away he goes.

yep, bench kreuzer and sell it as he needs a rest so all the facebook experts don't erupt into a frenzy.

can only have 2 of phillips, cas and kreuzer in the team at any one point has to be the new mantra moving forward.

If the first half of that sentence were true, you wouldn't feel the need to justify it by referencing his age and experience.

I've seen inflatable tube men more capable of applying pressure outside the stoppage.

My feelings too. Can't continue with those three in the one team, sadly I think kreuzer should go.

With changes in rotation cap, you can't have your ruckmen spending half the game on the pine without taking run out of your midfield.

We looked stuffed by the last quarter and were lucky that the injuries to dockers meant that they couldn't exploit our lack of run.

One of Kruize or Phillips has to be omitted and let Caz be second ruck.

My choice would be for Kruize first up to see if the extra game time helps him get back into form.

If Kruize can't find form in seniors, then a dose of the NB may help him get his touch back.

Kreuzer should stop trying to do Cripps's inside mid role and start taking more marks around the ground and linking up play

While we're at it, why can't square pegs be round when we want them to be?

In all seriousness, you wouldn't ask Naitanui to stop doing that, but you're enthused by his ability to jump high. He also spends 25% of the game on the pine so he doesn't wreck his body.

Great team effort for a great win against Freo.

IMO the weakest links in the win were (without viewing stats):

Tuohy: for weeks he's been out of form. Isn't defending well, nor running well. FA = liability
Kreuzer: no one doubts his effort, but he's not adding value, nor winning the ball. Headless Chook.
Philips: not AFL ready imo. He tries but has to build up his body and stamina to contest better.
Sumner: was very quiet. Didn't show any zip for a small forward. Not dangerous enough yet. Needs to find some explosive speed back.
Jones: was no where to be seen but he did kick the 2 WINNING GOALS so he deserves to stay.

Possible replacements:

Walker: will be back from injury, and if he's been kept back to be seniors ready put him in. I think he's past his peak tho.
Boekhurst: Back from injury. We need his pace for the MCG and has been showing good form this year.
Jaksch: I would have had him ahead of Jones and Rowe, but those 2 did their job against Freo.
Dick: Has been in very good form in NB's. He's in better form than Tuohy imo. Lets see.

In: Boekhurst Armfield Walker/Dick
Out: Tuohy Kreuzer Sumner

Walker will be better value than Sumner on the MCG if fit but Armfield's pace and form trumps Walker for me.
Dick to replace Tuohy for form in a defensive role.....or Walker can come in as a forward instead of Dick (if Walker is fit).
Boekhurst's pace and form will be most welcome on the G and we can drop a ruckman. Sadly Kreuzer is my pick.

Casboult to play CHF and swap in the ruck with Philips.
Philips can go FF to 'rest' and Curnow goes further up the ground coz Liam doesn't have the stamina for that.
Additional pace of Boekhurst and Armfield will cause problems to Bumbers on the G.
An inform Walker would be nice on the G.....just get rid of one of the rucks and Tuohy.

We have need for speed and endurance at the G.

We will win this with a 4 quarter effort. Jones to kick 3.

Been waiting a long time for that to happen.
I don't think its every going to happen.

He can find his confidence and form in the NB's imo.
This aint no party. This aint no disco to practise your dance moves. This aint no fooling around.

We want more wins, and not carrying out of form players in the seniors.
Possible win this week so no risks please.

I understand the reference to experience and age as very relevant. It is called "up side". Agree?
And I agree, along with many others Philips has been better ie cleaner hands than Kreuzer. What's the point of getting your hands to the ball and not mark or grab it to give it off?

I don't understand your last sentence...who are you referring that comment to.

One change: Jaksch in for a ruckman.

If Walker's available maybe he comes in for Buckley or Sumner.
