As a Legend? Maybe, but if I'm reading these list right, he wasn't our first Aboriginal player, just the first to play in a premiership for us.

Could also be Parkin, Barrassi or Kouta depending on how you read 'pioneer'.

Will Campo attend the event or will he just listen in from his car radio in the carpark?

Campo was a great player ... pity he went off the rails.

Dennis Pagan did not help! By the way I never thanked John Elliot for that stuff up. It wasn't as crazy as the appointment of the coach whose name shall not be mentioned ... but nonetheless was quite a stuff up. And while I am at it John ... thanks for the Hamill stuff up ... not to mention the salary cap cheating. A big Thank You coming your way John . Please ... never let another Elliot be in charge of our Club.

Anyway ... I digress

Happy to see Campo returning.

When 'pioneer' was mentioned, I thought of Rod McGregor, or, dare I say it, Jack Worrall?

The club rang me Thursday offering me free tickets to the event in recognition of my long term membership commitment. (47th year).
I can't go, but my daughter and son in law, both avid bluebaggers, will attend in my place.

Cool.

Two premierships in 20 years of presidency.

As opposed to 6 premierships in 14 years whilst Harris, Rice were president (Rohrt may have been president in between for a few years but didn't preside over a flag as far as I can remember).

I reckon Elliott underachieved and left us in the shitter.

Two premierships in 20 years is looking like a pretty good return at the moment, I'd take that over the last 20 years I've seen of Carlton.....
