To be serious.
I doubt there has ever been a club in history so devoid and in such a dark place with no way out of jail like we are atm

It's amazing!

Mind boggling

We got Phillips and Gorringe for spare change, and their contracts will be up in 2017.

Wood will be gone at the end of the year. If Kreuzer continues to trend upwards with his fitness levels and Gorringe doesn't develop as a forward, we'll discard them all except Kreuzer when their contracts expire, otherwise we'll re-sign Phillips and invest in getting Korcheck up to speed faster as well as looking at the FA/trade market.

We'll definitely draft a young ruck next year, probably via the rookie list.

He did most of his damage on Rowe; losing Henderson gutted our defensive options for this season, but we've picked up Plowman and JGM for the longer-term.

I am sure Bolton was fully aware of what he was coming into. He would have noted all the scoring power leaving, the holes in defence and the poor disposal skills. Those who cannot meet that standard will not be around for long. There will be some major pruning again at season's end. Disappointing? Absolutely. Unexpected? No. Bringing us out of our current predicament will be a great achievement for Bolton and his team.

One of those games where Carlton matched the opposition in terms of inside 50s in the first half but could not take enough marks inside 50. When opportunities were there they were missed (Casboult).

It isn't surprising that midfielders/defenders drop their heads when there is such little reward for effort due to the poor forward line.

Disappointing that Cripps doesn't get much protection.

People will have a fit sack Gibbs drop Murphy etc but the lack of reward for effort is the biggest issue.

Great post Effes.

Some american guy up to speed? You serious?
Have you watched him play football?

And spare change?
Do you realize what you're saying?
There is no such thing as spare change in our situation

Next year?
Why next year?

Because it's not this year or may year our am the other years since a whole bunch of years?

You kick the can and have it retinned then kick it again jimmy

You don't know when were going to identify a ruckman again that can compete.
Why do you say stuff like " next year " when you have no clue!

Why day stuff like that? You don't know!

We should be constantly searching for potential with realistic capabilities and surrounding them Ruth the correct tutors

Saying next year is ridiculous!
Because you're guessing at the chronological order.

Loll

You're so funny!

Why not just say the truth! We don't have a ruckman and I don't know when we're going to find one! That we should have the best mentors for the ones we have that money can buy!

Oh geeez! Wiping tears from my eyes in laughter
Because that's the truth!

Walker back in will help.
How do you solve a problem like Casboult?
Do we marry him off to a rich dude with many children or keep him in the convent?

Bolton is like Barker! The chances of him becoming a grad coach diminish with every year that passes ( logic)
And as an assistant coach.. Clubs and had coaches are constantly in search of young and fresh ideas.
Every coach has a used by date including assistants.. And this is a Rubicon moment for any coach when he either bides his time or takes the chance.
Both Barker and Bolton had to take their chance for different reasons.. The others either didn't put their hands go or out their hands down.

Carlton is not a dream destination for anybody in football now.
Coach
Admin
Player
Or child

That's the truth and you can't argue with it with facts!

Casboult is only just another problem.
He's not the problem
So you deal with him the same way as you'd deal with all the other problems that have compounded.
He's not Robinson Crusoe.
I'm not even talking about the playing list... Cssboukt might as well be let's say membership or sponsorship.. Recruitment admin.. Or ruck jamo Rowe.. List as a while our the mental state of the club and it's supporters

He is just a reflection of everything!

Just hoping it will fix

Everyday I wake up astounded that we drafted this hipster prick with our first rounder. When every other club pulls proper footballers out of their Christine Anu.

It isn't hard really. There's a country full of proper footballers each year. Draft them and not volleyballers.

Or Soccer players...

Who cares if he was having a good time after the game.
The question needs to be and only this question is important.
Did he give it his all during the game?
He can't change anything after the game.
Neither can anybody else!
Should he curl up and cry,?

Comments needed on his on field during game commitment

They took up two list spots on minimal salary and have contracts until the end of next year. What did they cost us otherwise?

My god you're slow on the uptake but frenetic on the response. If you actually listened to anything at all other than your own diatribe, you'd be the perfect idiot from a marketing perspective.

We were in the game for 3/4s.

Kicked the first goal in the 4th, to be within 8pts (from memory).

Then they kicked away. Maybe the 25deg temp & humidity contributed.

Don't understanding the despair in here, team is improving. Also don't understand why Ablett or Hall
weren't tagged, they tagged Cripps.

Nope

The rumour mill said he was gone last year, and yet he still stands, and he still contributes. You're flat out wrong.

He was nursed through the pre season
Spent much time in the rehab group
He's struggling with his knee from what I understand.
He might not be finished but he has problems with injury
