This is the unending situation. You seriously can't argue with any of it! You and your mates only try to silence the messengers and the message.
Even if you do were being martyred for the sake of what's left of the club.
You can never live down your stoning..

There is nothing logical in the whole context of what's happened and where we are in what you're saying!

Your role in the attempted cover up has not gone unnoticed.

Now regardless of whether it's accidental homicide which I have no doubt they really didn't mean to kill the club. They were just careless.. Bit still.. They are responsible and unaccountable

Bolton seems like a smart guy, he'll probably jump ship in 2-3 years once he realises the systemic issues of the club won't let him achieve real success.

You're assuming Bolton can't fix the list, game plan and therefore our fortunes on the ladder.

I have no doubt Bolton is the right guy to fix on field things and then the play thing of the Oligarchs can be enjoyed.
I don't believe for a minute the so called "Oligarchs" are happy with the way this club has been going, and want to improve it...whatever the cost.

I have witnessed Green shoots every week including NAB 2 against Essendon*.
The kids will improve their fitness. The oldies will be pensioned off.

I just cant understand why many TCers are surprised we lost by 10 goals to a super outfit like the Swans. This is nothing like the loss we had against WCE last year in round 2 or 3 where no one was playing for the coach because the 2010 game plan was not going to work circa 2015.

It is a reset from Top to Bottom.
MLG has more influence than some give him credit for. He doesn't fear Pratts or Mathiesons. Nor do I believe he's Mathiesons puppet.

Yes and Silvagni came in and got value for our trades last year.. So at least that has changed.

The board has changed significantly since you initially spruiked this, the CEO is different. You have nothing left. Yesterday's keyboard hero.

No, he didn't!!!!

We had 3 picks in the first 21 after the Bell trade...

We then traded 3 players drafted in the first round, and ended up with cast-offs from GWS, and Kerridge (who was un-contracted),
and 4 picks in the first 21!

Look at what other clubs did during the same period!

We could have done so much better during the trading period!

That should have led to more, and better selections in the draft!

Everyone is happy we are embracing the draft like never before, and that's great!

But just because we are now doing what everyone else has been doing for years, it doesn't mean we weren't mediocre!!

Call me an optimist if you like, but I don't live life looking in the rearview mirror.

I'm happy with the constitutional changes along with the change in mindset in relation to the way we are rebuilding the team now. No quick fixes.

I'm also happy that we've gone against 150 years of headhunting coaches that are used to the top rungs of the ladder and don't have the passion nor desire for hardwork in turning a list full of easy beat youngsters into a competitive unit. The good old days were easy...zones, cash and the ability to refresh a team in an offseason.

It's all refreshing.

Of course the proofs in the pudding, but it's a much nicer view looking out the windscreen of the car. Should try it one day

Starting from a very low base as you have rightfully pointed out, Silvagni has scaled the heights to mediocre.

Rusty, you never change.

Yes I will! When the club changes
How do you expect smart people to change when the club is bottom with four spoons in fifteen years and starting at five in sixteen?
That's not bad one every three. It's very st kilda like.
Including two in a row after this year bring a distinct probability.

You haven't provided any evidence to the contrary that were not at this place Here! Again! And that's not the fault of the same people making the same decisions here! Again!
And there is no evidence that this time will be different here! Again!
Compared to all the other times that have put us here! Again!

Yes.. I have you pegged!

Again I work with context and percentages of using what's happened as a measure for what's going on.
You have no method but hope!

Logic says we are here because of the same people that brought us here.
There is plenty of evidence of that
Strongly you're saying I am asking for a svorched earth policy

The truth is the club has been scorch earthed!
Look at it! Look what it was!
I'm not the one with the scorched earth policy unless you truly are trying to say in all your wisdom you can scorch scorched earth by blaming those that scorched the earth in the first place.

Make sense when you speak man! Nonsense is why were here today.. At this place... Again... Still!

A little fiddling around the edges won't take us out of this place.
That we find ourselves
Today
Again
Still

.

Of course!
We have been restructuring every year
Except board culture which is the guts of any club

When we follow somebody who brings us back to this place again.. Jim.. It means we've been led around a circle

I'm not sure what you understand about logic

But I'll let you in on a pearl of wisdom

There are no corners to turn in a circle!
That's logic.
What you're promoting is utter fantasy!

Because we're following the same people who brought us back here.. To this place.. Still.... Again!

Logic is a scarce commodity these days

Synners, you and I clearly do not agree on the level of competence, or influence, of the board.

My view is they are now competent and that's increasing at a rate of knots, and that their influence is heavily overstated.

Feel free to discuss this further in an appropriate thread.

Stop addressing me then
You're debating here then when you can't reply you make an untactical retreat..
You need logic not fantasy and camouflage or don't challenge at all
