Other than being tall and having red hair I'm not sure what Phillips has in common with Jacobs. He's more Hampson than Jacobs in my opinion. And there's nothing wrong with that, Hampson is a fine second ruckman, with good athletic attributes, just don't expect him to have the consistency to compete for All-Australian spots or regularly dominate games of footy.

Athletically he is similar to Hampson but having grown up playing the sport (which is why I referenced Jacobs) I believe that he has more potential.

Phillips is a better kick than Hampson already and doesn't have Hammers brain fades.

AND he is tasmanian!!!

AND he was one of my clients at the RACT Driving school. You should have seen him folded into a Toyota Yaris.

Yes. Did we outperform on the night? I mean a 10 goal loss to a top 4 team is probably about right; we don't know if they're top 4 so hard to gauge where we're at.

Completely agree.
Although, I'm also looking for intensity and leadership from the experienced blokes; and some indications from the young'ns that they have a future at AFL level (skills, smarts, attitude...).

I agree with this too
That will be part and parcel of the package that is required.I don't care if we win or lose
The way we follow a script is massively more important

Rosa for Ah Chee.

Buckley, Whiley, Byrne in for Everitt, White, Lamb.

Not quite what I was hoping for, but I'll take it

Emergencies are Cuningham, White and Tutt.

Phillips gone as well, but at least the forward line has been opened up and there's more run in the side.

Looks like Everitt was injured after all!

Not a clue, but if I was to guess, I'd say something to do with the knee, hip, or lower leg.

Possibly. Could also be a shoulder, elbow, back or torso.
