Effort is mostly there, we just can't sustain it and not stuff something up every few minutes.

Something that has been an issue for a long time is our positioning. Two players go the man with the ball and leave an oppositon player free, happens all the time. Wrong side of our opposition in front of goal and when the ball gets kicked to Casbault we have no one running to the contest to get the crumb.

It will take Bolton and the coaching staff a while to iron these things out and improve our football intelligence.

Have to be happy enough with how we're going, even if the scoreboard is disappointing.

We'll be beaten by a lot plenty of times this year. I reckon we will get worse before we get better. We're are running with the older heads and bigger bodies at the moment.

Lost our nerve at the end of that quarter, when steadying in the final 5 minutes, slowing the game down and constructing two goals against the flow would have put us just 15 down at the break.

Instead we took risks with tired legs in a tall side and we're down 38 points.

Getting outclassed, rather than out worked. It's at least promising that effort appears to be a given nowadays.

We're noticeably better when Kruezer is in the middle. Phillips is struggling.
2 shots hitting the post is unlucky and stalled our momentum when we had it.
Consistently breaking down trying to link up across half forward and on the wing, but we'll improve in that area and I prefer us working on that rather than bombing it in like we've done in the past.
