Bit of agro this year.

Some passionate posters bringing the biff back.

Reckon I'll just sit back and enjoy the game.

Certainly wouldn't have thought Phillips would play 1St ruck with Kreuzer at FF.

All my tiger mates are nervous, putting money on the Blues just to give themselves something to be happy about if we win. Such a ludicrous mentality.

The answer to that is: Richmond supporters.

Why have Phillips and white and Rowe all playing. Game lost at selection table.
2 of C.Curnow Whiley Byrne should be playing for two of those.

You're an idiot sir.

I think the correct form of that is:
"You, sir, are an idiot."

Aarrrggghh! This is madness! I tried to stay as apathetic as possible but I swear someone was wearing liniment on the train this morning and it set me off! Go Blues!

My feelings before every game are the same, especially in recent times. Expecting the worst but can't help but hope for the best.

Hoping like hell we can put in a really good performance tonight.

Same here.

No matter how much I try to think it’s all about the long term view, that the Hawks were terrible under Clarkson in his first year, etc, etc

….it gets to this day & the supporter in me would just love to win tonight.

We need to kick a better score than 8.7 (55) and lose by less than 63 points.

I'm going because yes, I've bought the hope (or is that hype?).

I'm expecting it to be ugly, but what I'm hoping for, is a sense of passion from the players. That this club now stands for something. And that no matter what, we will fight and fight hard.

I acknowledge there are going to be some shocking times. But for the hope of seeing that glimmer of the future, I'm there.

So come on Blues, show me what you've got. Give us something to be proud of, passionate about. Give us hard tough footy. I don't care if you aren't the most talented out there. What I do expect is you are the hardest charging.

Lets make them know they've played the famous old dark blues!

We seem to be very tall. God I hope it doesn't rain.

Just want to see the boys put a decent fight.

You know the best part of last season was the season opener up until half time. The entertainment before the game with the new MCG lights and visuals/fireworks was great as well!

You can't beat that feeling just before the season opener

I think we'll get 20 shots at goal. Hopefully that translates as closer to 15.5 than 5.15

We aren't that tall. Rowe, Casboult, Phillips and Kreuzer are it. The rest are flexible and mobile, although Jamo is looking slow over preseason.

Best day of the pre-season. Anticipation....we haven't lost a game. Could be a buoyant weekend if we get across the line.
It will be great to see the antiquated shitfull gameplay of the past 3 years out the door. If we can jag a win as well, no injuries, bonus.

This game to me is a bit like my weekly lotto ticket.
I keep fantasising on what it would like to win and feel confident that this week the numbers will come up.
Then I slap myself in the face and say get grip they will never come up.

We are gunner win
We are gunner win
We are gunner win
Get a grip no we are not
