Can't fault our effort in either this or the Hawthorn game. Solid defence and midfield just zero forward line, but there is enough to like to trust the direction we are taking.

Only one scoring shot in it. There's one thing we can work on to make us more competitive and that's kick straight.

That's caused by our lack of forward line and haphazard messy ways we score.

Can't see that being fixed without a proper forward line.

If the footy bounces off of their trainer shouldn't that be our free kick?

Lots to like tonight, but Everitt has been genuinely poor. On form shouldn't play against Richmond. Well down on either confidence, interest or both.

We'll find out when the real stuff starts, but I think we're on the right track.

I'm kept Everitt out of my best 22, and he has truly delivered on why I did tonight.

I've only watched the last quarter, but looking at the stats sheet alone, Boekhurst and Graham improving will serve us well, and add to the depth of our rotations.

Kerridge and Wright are great additions.

Gorringe needs a few Northern games to find confidence and know what a ball feels like.
