There will be two ruckman. Probably Phillips as 1st and Kruez as second ruck/forward.

Casboult will only ruck in emergencies. Can't have our only forward option running around all over the shop and we can't afford to give him a rest on the bench with limited rotations.

Two ruckman and one criteria.

Just looking forward to 2017, I like the look of our backline in 2017 as Weitering will take CHB and Jamison at FB (though I reckon next year will be Jamo's last). Players competing for spots on the flanks and pockets, though I'm not sure about our KP depth. That depends on the development of Jaksch and Glass-McCasker in those roles.
We have midfield options without elite players outside of Murphy, Gibbs and Cripps (hope you are good Charlie Curnow)!
It's the forward line which worries me most and by that I mean structurally. No real match winning small forward yet at this stage and Everitt is more of a flanker who plays KP. Then you have to look at the prospect of losing one of Everitt or Casboult, or maybe both, and then who plays there? Probably Walker at CHF. McKay will take time, I'm not sure about Gorringe. A few question marks here.
Where we have depth is in the ruck. I like the Kreuzer/Phillips combo, with Gorringe and Wood as relief if need be. Sorry, not sure about the latter 2 but McKay and Korcheck if need be. Wood won't be there next year.
Looking forward to the draft at the end of the year.

So what's the go with Jaksch, Sumner, Rainbow and Plowman? All injured? Recovering from surgery? We'll see them next week?

Sumner isn't in full training yet from memory

Not sure on DVR etc.

Plowman had that injury pre-Christmas and the injury thread they hope to have him in the next game (Swans).

Sumner and Plowman yes, Jaksch and Rainbow no.

At this stage I'm expecting Jaksch and Rainbow to front up for our first VFL practice game, while Sumner and Plowman will play the second secret intraclub and then probably the rest of the VFL practice matches and get eased into the season.

Rowe's the guy right now.

Wouldn't it be fun to imagine a world where we never signed up Rowe again last year, and we instead signed then delisted free agent Mitch Brown? If only someone had suggested that...

One thing for sure - there was no pretence that we had our best 22 out there today.

MCG

Murphy Cripps Gibbs.... surely that's worth a lot to any club.

Then remove some of the serial turnoveroverers and we're a lot better than that

It's like we chose to give the C graders a go or the injury list was just too much

Jaksch was apparently (if someone could verify) in hospital recently after being ill and dropped down weight just to top it off.
