Bolton is a teacher but he forgot the lesson about giving away 50m penalties. Happened last week too.

Put it in perspective
Gibbs
Kruezer
Kerridge
Murphy
Gibbs
Walker
White
Thomas
Wright

All of our experience is out however so are Essendon*'s best 10 so not a real good look for us.
Reality has set in we will more likely than not finish last.
The hope was good while it lasted.
Im not sure i can sit through a whole season where we average a goal a qtr.

Only issue is that she hasn't overruled whoever's been paying the stupid 50s while acting as the central umpire.

probably needs to engage her core a bit more too

Richmond beat Hawthorn by 71 points today.

I doubt Hawthorn supporters are worried.

No one thinks we're going to be a good side, but we're missing most of our best players, adjusting to a new game plan and not rotating as much as our opposition.

Weitering good. C Curnow ok. Nick Graham good.

That's about all I've got. Shit teams get screwed by the umpires because they do dumb things. That's happening to us a bit so far.

Phillips and Gorringe really poor so far.

It's a delicate balance of extreme exasperation at the nature of our play, and reminding yourself that none of our good players are playing and it's February.

In reality this is a more than just a practice match.

Importantly, it's also a high profile advertisement for the club.

Not very inspiring, to say the least.

Weitering, Graham, CCurnow the only green shoots occasionally providing interest, so far.

How do you overrule a 50m penalty? I've never seen it happen.

Bloody brilliant to be back at Princes Park though.
This is what footy is supposed to feel like.

I'm enjoying it. It's what a practice match should be.

They can kiss the 50k membership hope goodbye.

Regardless of what people think a scoreline of 54-8 at half time to a team of rejects does not = Memberships.

I'd imagine it can be if you're certain it's wrong, it's just really embarrassing for the bloke overruled

Richmond are putting out a pretty competitive squad in this comp, Hawthorn rotated the hell out of theirs, so it's not really the same.

Essendon* obviously came out breathing fire, but the discipline in execution of tactics and keeping their cool when things don't go their way has been well below a professional standard.

It shouldn't take a few kids who haven't been shell-shocked yet to stabilise the situation. That's embarrassing, no matter the time of year. Bolton will be tearing strips off them right now because the most fundamental thing he's been working on is re-building the team-first ethic of the squad.

Aside from it being February and half our team out and using less rotations, even allowing for that it's awful.

Only positive is it looks like Essendon* won't get pick 1

If Bolton says at the pressed we got out of today what we wanted my head will explode.

To make it worse where I'm sitting there are more drug cheat supporters than baggers
