Any updates on the injury front, would like to know how Byrne and Sumner are travelling?

Sheehan and Byrne are back close to full training I believe; Sumner is out on the park a bit more but still somewhat restricted, while Plowman is a little further along than him.

Tuohy was talking up Kreuzer's fitness today, so it's likely his foot will blow up in the next week or two.

They've been saying that half the pre-season, I think we're good.

Plowman will most likely come back to the VFL before consideration for the seniors. So how long he will be out for and how long he plays in the seconds, I would anticipate he will be a chance in 1-2 weeks.

If he can play NAB 3 or the VFL pre season game on that same weekend then he'll be putting his hand up for round 1.

Hope so. Only because while I've seen him play for GWS - I don't really know what Bolton has planned for him (position wise) and I'm keen to find out.

Can't see Plowman or Sumner being ready for R1.
Might need at least a few weeks in the VFL.

Armfield (hamstring) 2 weeks (Sustained at training)
Cripps (bruised knee) 1 week (Sustained at training)
Murphy (shoulder) 2 weeks (ongoing - likely to be ready for NAB round 3)
Plowman (hips) 3 weeks (from operation last year)
Sumner (foot) 3 weeks (from operation last year)

Well that's Plowman and Sumner out of round 1 contention.

Plowman to be eased into it the way docherty was in his first season at the club. Few games in the twos to get his touch then become a lock in the best 22
