Take out Weitering, McKay and C.Curnow and every person we've selected is a mature body that should be ready for AFL footy.

I'm more referring to the Hawks wanting to squash Bolton in his first game. I think they'll have a real crack in the first half at destroying us.

In saying that I believe we have a middle table team this year pending injuries. Will be a great first up test.

I really don't care if we win or loose.
There's only 1 thing you want from these micky mouse games.............

NO INJURIES

Perhaps in the NAB challenge but I believe he's pencilled in to fill the small forward role.

Fair enough, but yes I'm referring to the NAB challenge given his excellent fitness levels and the selection of Tutt, Thomas, Lamb, Boekhorst and Gallucci.

So definitely play Tutt and Jones then, just in case.

We have no on-the-spot reporter down in Tassie for training?

Looking forward to see us out on the park again.Reckon we will give a far better showing than many think.Hawks have lost vital lyynchpins in there lineup and also have manyyy newbies making debuts.I think it will be an even contest.................but as many have said,it aint about the result but how we go about it.........reckon i agree with that. All i ask for is we never lay down and cop a floggin' meakly. We must have pluck and cheek and a never say die attitude and i will be happy.

If we don't win by 1000 points we should sack Bolton.

Had a tough day at work. Got a much needed laugh from this. Cheers

Whose bright idea was it to start the AFL season with the all-conquering, three time, reigning premier Hawks playing the reigning wooden spooner who couldn't even beat Brisbane, twice, and who have since lost Judd, Carrazzo, Henderson, Yarran, Menzel, and Bell? And Davey Ellard.

Looking forward to seeing all the draftees and recruits running around.

Anyone know why Cunningham was overlooked? From what I've seen/read, he appears just as ready as any of the other draftees.

Ellard's gone??
That's it - we're screwed!

PS. At least he did have a strong work ethic and determination to get every last drop out of his abilities...

That's why he was added and Warnock wasn't.

Looking forward to watching the game on a new television bought for the footy (so my better half can watch all her cooking and home renovation shows...). The Aussies here are either Scum or Filth supporters so happy to watch on my own with a Boags Premium saved just for the occasion.
Hoping for a competitive effort and keen to see how the new lads shape up.
