So you are acknowledging that pratt does not know how a football club can be properly run?

I think she has a better grasp on it than her late husband ever did when he came back as the perceived savior. I'm more saying that Collingwood do a very good job at it.

Well that's just plain ridiculous...mr and mrs pratt have both no idea

It must be stated for the record vice president pratt did not attend the 2015 carlton agm but attended the Collingwood agm

J pratt stated in an interview on channel 9 last year that the decision to sack malthouse was not her decision and she is still friends with mick. This statement directly contradicted the presidents statement that the decision to sack malthouse was a unanimous board decision

Please doc stop making excuses for this incompetant board that delivered the clubs 4th spoon in 13 years

Ha. Don't think so. But just getting his posting style, I wouldn't be surprised if he's somehow associated with that old DocSherrin poster.

Agree with this, particularly poor imo

But in her defence her daughter was made a life member at the AGM so whether it's Collingwood or not that's something a family should be able to celebrate.

And for the record Doc has said many equally good and bad things about the board and administration over the journey to realise he's not a board plant.

there is no defence - a public company vice president has higher responsibilities for the Carlton brand and not to disenfranchise the carlton clubs members by attending a collingwood agm

If his daughter was receiving life membership perhaps he would. There are slightly more pressing issues than this one for Carlton supporters to be concerned about. With the assistance of these two families with a foot in both camps - it would be good if they were to make a joint submission to the AFL as to why they should play on ANZAC day...alas - the league - and the clubs are inherently weak.

Look at it from another angle. It was Collingwood's AGM and a Carlton board member is being talked about...well done Jeanne!

if you knew Carlton its a public company limited by guarantee - there are no shares

I have serious concerns that you are not a Carlton supporter nor member

misses the point completely...if you are a club director, you have higher responsibilities to the club and its membership in this particular situation

loyalty to ones family is not inconsistent.

the perception or as using the AFL's ceo's words - the optics does not look good...

Why concern yourself with such trivial matters? Correct on both counts! (I didn't know it was a prerequisite)...
