No Cripps might verify the BF rumour he hurt his knee and won't play until last nab game.

5 to be trimmed from that squad, with Murphy a likely candidate. I don't think there's any other injury concerns amongst those names (maybe Byrne), so who knows for the other three.

My preferences to drop from the squad: Jones, Dick, Gallucci and Tutt.

Leaves:

FB: Rowe Jamison Byrne
HB: Docherty Weitering Tuohy
C: Boekhorst Graham Simpson
HF: Lamb Everitt Thomas
FF: McKay Casboult C.Curnow

RR: Kreuzer Gibbs E.Curnow

Int: Phillips, Gorringe, White, Whiley, Wright, Kerridge

You'd read from the squad selection that Kerridge is going to play as a permanently midfielder, and Wright is odds on to be used on a wing.

Unsure if this is promising news for Jaksch, Gowers, Smith and Cuningham.

EDIT: Missed Rowe in my calculations

Only three players to be trimmed. 8 players on the bench with unlimited rotations.

Big clunky fwd line Jim

Rowe no longer in leadership group which suggests he's no longer an Auto selection. We need Plowman as we can't go anywhere with him back. For now, would prefer White in back 6 ahead of him, let's see how they line up..

Ughhhhh that's going to be awful to watch.

That confirms what you're saying; I'd drop Jones, Tutt and Dick then I guess.

Murph said in the interview on the carlton website he wont play til nab 3 at the earliest so i suggest he wont play.
Jones and tutt should never play for Carlton again. In my head there already delisted, along with wood. Would hate to see them playing nab cup ahead of someone like Mckay or cunningham

Really want to see Charlie C strut his stuff: I'm sure he's the next big thing.

Cuningham will be desperate to cement a spot for round 1.

Weitering will do what he was recruited to do wwith poise and class.

Then there's Kerridge, Wright Gorringe Phillips and Lamb who will be out to impress too.

I cant see Jones or Tutt take their game to the next level either coz I don't think there's a next level.

Thisn is going to be on for young and old despite being just a preseason game. So many new blokes with so much to prove....under a coach who seems to have ouyclassed the old stager we had last year. A true leader of men and club is BB.

Hopefully every selfish prick who adopted the selfish style of MM has been ripped out of this club and if there are any more passengers they will be found out and discarded quickly.

We are young.
Bring on the battlefield.

We are so pumped here in Bondi.

I'm expecting the Hawks to send a message looking at that team.

...I might be way off the mark - but I'm not convinced singing Pat Benatar songs is going to get us over the line in this one.

Perhaps in the NAB challenge but I believe he's pencilled in to fill the small forward role.

Just have to hit them with our best shot....

Leaving now....
Actually, it's a shame about the interchange.. I think the limit on the season proper is really going to have an effect.
Would have been good to see it in the NBA also..
I also think we may well have targeted endurance players... I guess we'll see in a few weeks

Take out Weitering, McKay and C.Curnow and every person we've selected is a mature body that should be ready for AFL footy.
