My guess we will play the following twice;
Collingwood, Essendon****, Melbourne, Gold Coast and Port.


Port twice would be a disaster given they are probably going to jump up the ladder considerably. Give me teams on the slide.

I thought it was a 2-2-1 split. 2 bottom 6 teams twice, 2 Middle 6 teams twice, 1 top 6 team twice. Hence I'm thinking its *insert bottom 6 team, Essendon**, Collingwood, Richmond, *insert top 6 team.

It is a split of 2/3, 1/2 or 0/1. In other words bottom 6 clubs can play up to 3 other bottom 6 teams twice (some did this year) and you dont have to play any top 6 teams twice. Of course we copped Hawthorn twice despite finishing bottom 6 last year but we are Carlton and treated differently.

Gotta be honest, other than having a good schedule with plenty of games suitable to attend I don't really care much about the fixture. Won't make a lot of difference to us in the end.

So excited for this. There's a milestone at work on the 18th, so will be celebrating afterwards. Don't care much about the result, just wanna watch the kids play. There will be steak, there will be chips and there will be beer. :thumbsup:

Understand that you're resting some senior names there, but no 2nd ruck with the extended bench?

Also zero love for McKay, Sheehan and Charlie, especially with how short the forward line is and how tall the defence is.
