Also, massive ups to whoever's behind Carlton Media for the genuine 720p50 video on the first one; looks superb.

I didn't attend even though I am a member

I understand that the President nor the CEO spoke to the members at family day.

I also understand that none of the players spoke either.

Can anyone confirm this? If so, why?

Looking at the video, it appears the supporters had plenty of one on one time with the players. Photos, autographs, talking.
A huge improvement IMHO. Really, who wants to hear from the President anyway?
Im sure the kids couldn't give a @#$%&!. Its all about the players for them.

every family day requires the president to speak to the masses and give some hope - at least Eddie fires up for the faithful...its part of the job..

No president did not speak, nor did any of the players. All the coaches spoke.

Both the president and CEO were out and about talking to the supporters.

That goes along way more than just speaking to the crowd over a microphone.

What was interesting was the number of supporters I could over hear saying to both the president and CEO that they were very happy with the position the club has taken since the season ended and that they felt that we were heading in the right direction.

Well, I was a bit confused in the way they'd moved all the marquees around to different spots.

Other than that, like dejavu
