The trading in of the extra 3rd rounder for next year is pretty astute. We can package that with the pick we accrue in next years 3rd round to one of the clubs needing points in the bidding system. That alone will see us move up the draft order.

Might not get us further than into the middle of the second round.

Boekhurst definitely needs to cement his spot in the side. Turns 23 next year and even Though its his second season at the age of 23 if your not a regular teams look to move you on, which is a shame given the fact Hugh Goddard will play 20 games next year as a Key defender for the saints...

Yep. Not sure why you're adding achievements in?
By the time we are any good he will be close to retired.

When do you think we will be achieving?

Are the gradings right in the first place? ie speculative and depth?

I like the grouping but that in itself is speculative imo.

I believe players like Gorringe and Phillips are made for this AFL caper. Only need BB to motivate them to succeed consistently.

Everyone is aging every year.

I agree with Rexy. Gibbs entering his prime and I expect him to feature in the Brownlow....being speculative on gace value...but he does have some accolades we should refer to hey Dane...because he has shown his value in the past...in a really shit team with shit coaches and shit game plans.

He definitely needs to exhibit more defiance.

It's like by listing Gibbs in the aging group I've dismissed all his achievements and written him off.

Sorry Gibba! Didn't know my list was this important!

If I have that, I can move from the speculative to the ageing. If I don't, well 2020 seems a long time to wait!

I'm tipping even we get mauled a few times, they won't be from lack of effort. Unlike a few gutless performances we put under Malthouse.

We shouldn't forget what Hawthorn was like in 2004 - 2005. Some of those efforts were appalling... and fun to watch. But since then four premierships. If we only get mauled a few times in 2016 it will be better than this year. And we should expect it.

Does that mean we'll have 20 premierships all up by 2026? :-o

Can Jesse McGlass take over Jamison in the next few years??
Can McKay & Curnow control our forward line within the next 2-3 years??
We need another 3/4 quality midfielders..
Kerridge & Wright will be ok not so sure about, Lamb, Sumner and Smith..
Armfield's days are numbered..
Thomas needs to step up without the injuries...
Weitering straight to CFB, gun!!
Within the next 3 years, look out afl....

There is a massive opportunity for 15-20 players to make their mark in 2016.... looking forward to it.

I'd be disappointed if it took 4 years to get top 6.
I would be hoping for top 4 by then.
Port, Weagles and Hawks all did it from las or near-last in a few years. if we have the ducks lined up there is no reason we can't do it as well.
