Bolton couldn't be clearer when he repeats the word 'unity'.
He's obviously referring to the split in the playing group last year under Murphs 'captaincy.
Murphy's a good player but doesn't have the authority a captain needs. I reckon Bolton sees that.
Time for someone else to have a go create some 'unity'.

I don't see that as obvious, Rexy.
I believe he's talking about the club in general.

I think the question sparked him to think about the leadership group as a whole rather then the captain himself. His immediate thoughts were not of Marc but of the group.

This is all about quality. A sign of the new Carlton. The Tasmanian influence is back - Berkley Cox, Brent Crosswell, Percy, Craig Davis, Tony Pickett. Tasmania has a good connection with the successful Carlton so good signs ahead.

Peter Hudson's nephew was Simon Minton -Connell who started with us. Not sure about Lee McConnen. Picket was a North L'ton player and a PE teacher so I knew him well before and after his Carlton days. McConnen may have been from Hobart.

I remember Leigh McConnon he was number 32 & Tony Pickett was number 30.

Bolton said the other day "we're a team in a hurry" and I noticed Armfield used the same expression today.

Given we've said we are in for a long haul rebuild, I find it hard to correlate with the in a hurry statement.

So I'm missing something. What is Bolton meaning when he says we're a team in a hurry?

I've taken it to mean there's a lot of things that need fixing and it won't happen quickly but we're getting there as fast as we can.
