Hi so I went to juddys book launch tonite!
Some key things he said:
Agrees the drug culture at wce was disappointing but thought the media was unfair to paint the brush that 'all the team were drug cheats'.
Said his favourite game for carlton was the 2013 prelim final against the tigers.
On bolton: said he was far and away the best candidate in terms of the key areas the panel was looking for, being development, teaching and most importantly the ability to be innovative with how the team plays. Further he noted how carlton and other teams were guilty of trying to 'follow' other successful teams methods for success but he was confident bolton could turn that around and make others want to follow carlton methods.
Said carlton has/had introverts but was pleasantly surprised that with our recent trades we had got players who wanted to be a part of our club and are keen to plsy for the jumper
Said that he hopes little oscar will play for carlton!!
Says he still loves the club and 'would be open' to have some involvement with it at some stage in the future. However made the point that he was happy to provide ocassional advice or support to any of our players should they seek it from him in the interim.
Quote:
If they dont mind the trip out to Brighton or somewhere in the middle im happy to gave a coffee and a chat
When asked about a media role or appearance on tv he said
Quote:
I'm not that interested in talking about footy in the media now I've finished but I did get approached to go on the "I'm a celebrity get me outta here
(which he knocked back).
There was 300 odd that showed up to Eastlake tonite and all of us were engrossed by what he had to say. Personally I thought he was very genuine and honest with his remarks and extremely generous with his time allowing questons from the mc as well as the fans that came along, not mention signing books scarves ets and taking photos (including with me

) with everyone that attended.
Yes I have a mancrush on him but he is an absolute champion!! It was an awesone nite!!
