We have a Thursday night game and I bet you we have at least one more.

I can't believe Ess get another marquee game. Don't they deserve it.

It's a kick in the butt...on the way out....Thanks for coming Carlton....NEXT best thing!!!

Carlton is so past tense. All we talk about in the main is our past and I'm a huge advocate of the past. My kids love the past and so we should all of us be proud of our achievements in sport since the gold rush days.

What this tells us all is that's it is game over boys and back to ground zero. Start again.

We are starting from ground zero. A rebuild. It will take time, but not as long as some of us think but then again that depends on our off field leadership which for the past 20 years or 25 years has been dismal, and we should never forget how we got to the bottom of the barrel for a second period of time in 2 decades.

I hated Friday night results and the negative impact those losses had on me and my family on Saturdays, when I'm suppose to be coaching; in general footy discussions, which were all about the pathetic loss; and, the negative impact on my kids' general demeanour for the rest of the weekend during AFL season. Carlton have been embarrassing to watch. Embarrassing!

Saturday and Sunday games means we can watch Carlton live in Melbourne more than we could on Fridays (because we live in Sydney). More importantly I was considering boycotting Carlton games because the AFL shit me, but I was heartened ny the trade period, so I might just boycott away games as someone suggested above. Good idea!

Elliot is gone. Kernahan is gone. Whoever was responsible with recruitment is gone. Conditioning coaches gone. Swann gone. In fact I believe we have erased everything Collingwood at Carlton, you know, the Eddie plants.

Over to you Bolton. Right this ship.

The way the fixturing works shits me to tears. Every team should host at least one Friday game across the course of the season. Surely it's not that hard?

We know the AFL is fair though, don't we.

One will be rolled out in November. The other probably in the new year as the ink isn't really dry yet.

On the bright side, at least it means we won't be the guinea pigs when the umpires roll out their new weekly rule interpretations every Friday night

Ditched Fox Footy toward the end of the season so I guess I'll be watching very little Carlton in 2016.
Probably for the best.

Hopefully that means we don't have to front the AFL's retarded Monday night games and whatever other random time slot they can think of

It's not Carltons fault that Ch7 and the AFL thought Malthouse was the messiah.

I do enjoy Friday night games, but sometimes I'm just too tired and if you lose it's a bad start to the weekend.
I'm hopeful we've got Saturday afternoon but I reckon they've lumped us with Sunday arvo and Sunday twilight. Although there didn't seem to be as many Sunday twilight games (at least in Vic) this year.

Trigg commented that a number of other clubs had no Friday night games which seems ridiculous.

Feels like a massive feeding frenzy of sharks on a dead whale at the moment.

Carlton being torn to shreds....

Good. Terrible time to play football. Made no sense.

Not playing on Friday nights is the least of our concerns.

Would be a classic if we have a stunning Bulldogs 15 -like season and have lots of close entertaining games that noone gets to see while the new friday night darlings have stinkers.

I hope the AFL enjoy their "blockbuster" Friday nights attended by 30,000 fans.

That would be great but unfortunately I can't see it happening. We finished last for a reason, we have a shocking list and next year doesn't look any better.

I'm undecided if I want to play adelaide in vic or SA. On one hand I could go see Menz live .......but on the other it might be too painful still and probably safer if the game is in SA.

Maybe we should play Adelaide twice. Once in SA and then in Vic
