First time Carlton has really gone to the draft. yes, a little late....

We had 3 top 15 picks in 2000 and mucked them all up. Livingston (4), Sporn (11) and Wiggins (15). We missed Kerr, Burgoyne, Scott Thompson, Petrie who all went in the top 25.

Let's hope the 3 we pick this year have a career like Burgoyne and not Livingston.... please

In essence we lost Hendo and Yazz for 8 and 11

And we lost Menzel (and Bell) for Kerridge and the GWS boys.
If any one or two of them equal Menzel's future output, then we might be able to declare a win.

But in reality Yarran and Hendo were proven players and losing them sucks.
We can only hope the guys we have brought in fit our age profile and current team ethos better.

And I hope Tigers and Cats never win another premiership as long as Yazz and Hendo are alive.

Oh Bax....do you have to remind me.

I'm hoping we have a better eye for talent in 2015.

Pick 1....IS a winner
Pick 8....plenty of talent better than Sporn sitting there we all can see
Pick 11....plenty of talent better than Wiggins sitting there we all can see
Pick 19...have to nail this one along with previous 2.

I have a lot more confidence we will add 4 great players to this great club.

So from what I can work out:

Retired
Judd
Carrazzo
Ellard

Delisted
Giles
Watson

Traded
Henderson
Bell
Menzel
Yarran

In
Kerridge
Plowman
Sumner
Lamb
Phillips

Picks
1, 8, 11, 19, 59, 60

Is that right?

Seems right also add in the number 1 pick in pre season, so assuming 59&60 equals SOSOS we still have to de list 2 players. I think Warnock and Army will miss. Keep White and Holman.

Will be sorry to see Army go if that's the case.
Great effort for the club.

Apparently they've removed the goal posts at Princes Park to fit in with our new game plan.

We already had 4 picks in the top 21 and we gave up Yarran to get 4 picks in the top 20.

Sorry that just doesn't make sense.

Moved us to 3 picks in the top 11. Do you really trust our recruiters to get early 20 picks right ... see Watson, Bootsma, Hampson, Grigg, etc???

Our options were:-

- 1,8,21,22 and Yarran
-1,8,12,21,22 (if Tigs caved)
-1,8,11,19 and have a good honest crack at Tomlinson (aggressive)
-1,8,19,21,22

If we had known we wouldn't get Tomlinson we may have gone about the whole thing differently.

Still happy we blew up the list. Should have did it in 2012. A new beginning.

Possible = that may exist or happen, but that is not certain or probable.
Likely = such as well might happen or be true; probable.

so thanks for that.
