WTF, rant coming.
Not sure about other membership packages but mine has jumped $100 for 2016.
Usually get a family members general admission and then upgrade to reserve "premium" seating for whatever game the family can get along to. With kids sports all weekend (and early starts) its hard to get to games so I'm happy to spend that extra $90-120 a game for reserved seats that we can go to cause that's extra money to the club.
2013 this was $380 or 390
2014 this was $400
2015 this was $415
2016 is now $515, approx 24% jump up in price for what?? Not a family club at Carlton.
Might as well just keep the $515 in my pocket and buy cheaper reserved seats for the games I can attend.
Anybody else notice a major increase in price on their membership packages?
I contacted the club via email and this was the response; - (Price wasn't really frozen, it has increased..)

I can confirm that the Family Membership price has been frozen for the last two years, for season 2016 the price has been unfrozen. Other categories of memberships (Adult, Concession etc) have increased over this time and now the family membership is becoming aligned. This year, the family membership still works out cost effective compared to individual memberships and is equal to 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 free junior .
So I decided to check other clubs, most of them not up yet but Hawthorn is.

Big difference between how a very successful club treats, values and keeps their members and then there is Carlton.
After 25 years a member, I'm seriously considering not renewing. Its not about the money, its the sneakiness of it, at least be upfront about.
