Full credit to the departing board members for acknowledging that they don't have enough time to contribute effectively.

However I'm not sure that having enough time should be the key criteria for board membership.

I'd almost prefer Luke Sayers just rocking up for 20 minutes each meeting, rather than Jeannie and Bear donating all their waking hours .

Nah.

To have a board, made up of basically the same people over the last 6-10 yrs, continue on with no accountability for the horrendous governance and waste is just wrong.

It's arrogance at its worst.

So much for fresh faces and fresh ideas.
Would ve liked to have Ryan T come back, or someone like Fraser Brown to be 'the football person' on the Board instead of Gleeson, who really, I don't understand what he's brought to the table all these years.

Give it another year.....unfortunately dead wood with superiority complexes are hard to budge but they'll be found out very quickly.

Anyone out there with the passion, skills and time who believe they can make a difference you have 12 months to put your credentials forward to the members. Make it a good pitch, you're more than half a chance

It's a toxic situation these people have created.

They've intertwined their personal business interests with those of the clubs' so much so that they've created a type of forcefield that repels anyone outside the circle from challenging.

Think what you like about Trigg, but I reckon he's holding the place together by a thread, despite the incompetence that remains in the boardroom.

Who wants to fight to get onto a board that is controlled by a man living in Qld.
