If the hawks rest a few, could this be counted as a game between the Northern Blues and Box Hill Hawks?

Assuming we can't pick Johnson, Fields or Russell.

Out - Docherty, Ellard, Yarran
In - Carrazzo, Holman, Smith

Emergency: Viojo, Jones, Barb

Surely Armfield gets a gig...assuming he played VFL last week

Didn't play last week. All correspondence seems to say unlikely to resume.

Why?

The 3 likely omissions are all smalls. Still got plenty of talls in the side. May as well play the uncontracted Watson over Jones with 2 years left..

The hawks will tank just to stuff up our draft position

That a clever reference to the past.

I thought my Herbert Morrison gag was better.

The Dorks only interested in a bruise-free game prior to Finals and given the Blues performances after half-time lately, I wonder if the teams will actually take to the ground for the 3rd and final quarters ???

Just play majority behind the ball in space.
Win the ball at the contest and either turn it over or kick to loose Hawks.
Then watch the ball sail over our heads and flood gates open.
Mad Monday around the corner...........

I want this to be over with no new records. Could wunderkind Jones finally get a game just to make up the 22. Is he a Mick special, who do we blame for him? Why give up high pick for a guy who is a seconds regular after years on an AFL list, and then why, oh why give him a 3 year deal!!!

Hope we kick the first goal, to relieve the worry that we might not kick one at all.

Would like to see punches thrown by us and serious physical hurt to Hawthorn
At times like this Robbo would have been handy.
Our team is full of reserve grade hacks who we won't miss next year when they get suspended. Never a better time to go the knuckle.
Cash bonuses to anyone who takes out Lewis (cauliflower) Mitchell (sniper), Roughead (butt ugly), Breust, Rioli (overrated), and Gibson (bully)
MLG to butt flower the Hawthorn president at the prematch luncheon against his will.
Ian Aitken to be stretch limoed to the ground and snuck into the Hawthorn box just before 3/4 time and king hit Clarkson from behind
Only regret is that Luke Hodge won't be playing

Go the knuckle Blues and give your supporters some joy

Actually better idea is to bring Jones into the team and make him the only focal point forward. That will do the trick.
