Oh well. I still believe we are finally heading in the right direction
psych, besides from the appointments of sos and bolton, who are the other people/positions that have filled you with optimism?
i'm also breathing the fresh air about the future, and was impressed with triggs' honest speech before the game last week about improving communications, culture and systems.
was hoping you could elaborate more.
the ship's turning.
thanks,

Hi Johnny.
MLG as President & Trigg as CEO have made a difference especially with process and the direction we are heading. We will be bringing in new recruiting, fitness and coaching staff. There have also been massive changes in the administration throughout different departments at the club. There is a lot happening behind the scenes.
The key for me is the language coming out of the club and how we are finally addressing issues in a proper manner. We have finally left the 80's and 90's behind. No more quick fixes and now following proper industry practices. The selection process of a new coach was a massive positive for me.
I have been a major critic of the club over the past decade on so many levels and we are still a long long way from where we need to be but IMO things are starting to head in the right direction. Personally I am relieved.
IMO as much as I am angry about things in the past we need to look forward. I just hope the big decisions keep happening and we follow the path we are on.
Psych
thanks for the response.
relief is an emotion i share also. as an old school season ticket holder with no inside knowledge of the day to day runnings of the club, i feel like we're finally modernising and the fog is beginning to clear.
i'm very excited about the impending fitness, recruiting and coaching appointments. and i'm sure when the changes at board level take place, the naturally disgruntled carlton supporters will start embracing the future together.
thank again psych.
