I wasn't able to listen in to the presser in great detail, but look forward to catching up on it tonight. I did hear enough to know "leadership density" is the new black!

Rapted that he's going to be starting so soon. Well done to Blues and Hawks for agreeing to that.

I was new at a job & missed the last days of TBV. One of my major life regrets

Yep. It's important to have big goals CK...

First order of business for the new coach...... put pressure on the club management to get the AFL to provide priority draft picks, proper compensation for players they are about to lose etc, and or money to wipe out the debt.....

eg Waite last year - no compensation. Is this just seeing as Waite is now a key plank in the AFL sponsored and funded North Melbourne ?

North is AFL funded to an extra $3 million per year. Carlton should get the equivalent amount per year now.

This "no compensation" (eg Waite) cannot play out again this year if Carlton loses Kreuzer etc. The AFL will need to step in and make some favourable decisions towards Carlton.

Seriously, what a campaigner. Using the Bay 13 version of campaigner here.

Little Brittain!

Anyone know what VFL/AFL team he barracked for growing up??

I believe it was Brendan Goddard.

Good luck to the Little Bolts
He is going to need it
Close to the toughest job in Australian sport bringing this club back.

I wonder what conversations he had with his fellow midfield coach before he decided to take the job

Good luck son, the honeymoon period with the supporters lasts until round 4 2016.

When was the last time Carlton followed "due process" in appointing a coach? Never? When Parko got the job first time around?

For the uneducated maybe. Those with a strategic mind will sit back and enjoy the ride.

Wont be many on this forum.

I don't think anyone should be expecting too much for the next 2 years. I would like the foundations grown in the list and players ready to take that next step in the 3rd year and push for the 8. But, for the next couple years, we shouldn't expect too much more. However, l am happy to have expectations of finals if we win round 1 :).

Has he cut John Barker's cock off and made him call himself Reek yet?

I look forward to Bolter sharing his Hawks intelligence with Barks to orchestrate a 25 goal turnaround and a famous win v Hawks in Rd23.

The most important aspect for me is that BBs focus will be on teaching and developing players. The club has been awful for many years when it comes to player development.

Example, I asked Casboult the other day if he in all his years at CFC has had any set shot specialist training before Rocca arrived. Answer - No

Seriously outrageous situation.

How could our club allow this to happen.
Should the supporters/ members be keeping these bastards honest?
Its an indictment on the club.

Fingers crossed BB has no development voids in the future.
