Posted this elsewhere but we have a Palestian and a Jew on the Board. You reckon there is going to be cohesion?
We have the son of the bloke who lit the torch in 56?
Seriously, it's a little bit of a joke.
However, who is going to cast the first stone?
Who is going to have the Peter Finch moment and say IM MAD AS HELL AND CANT TAKE THIS ANYMORE

I seriously think that we as members need to take control of this nuthouse.

Add Gleeson to the list of jokers on the Board.

He's certainly the media's favourite - but they are lazy.

It's still open.

He'd be a good choice, whether he's the best choice though....

Still time to play out.

Fair to say Bolton is miles ahead of barker.

That is not what i have been told from someone on the inside and very very well connected to the club.

Though i am starting to think deliberate smoke signals are being sent out to @#$%&! with everyone.

The club are still happy with Barker and he is still doing everything asked of him

Sounds like a classic mole hunt

Every current coach, current development coach, current recruiter, current list manager and probably every current board member involved prior to this season should be moved on. Obviously that includes Barker, he has been at the club for several years, too late to show what he can do. The excitement of having pick one or two in the draft just brings us back to the Murphy or Gibbs or Kruezer days as if they were going to be the saviours. Now it will be pick 1 and possibly SOS and Rice, seriously the circus leaders need to get out before we can seriously move forward.

I don't care if its phreaking Mickey Mouse, I just want someone who has the players that put this jumper on offering up an effort. I'm sick of us just rolling over and dying when an opposition does so much as kick 2 goals in a row.

surely it can't be barker now.

he's barely raising a pulse from this playing group.

Longmire may be a premiership coach but sounds like he has run his race at the Swans.
Taking over a side set up for him could not be more distant from the Carlton job.

Recent coaches with premierships on their CV haven't done so well at our beloved club.

It's not just the coach but the whole place. Surely the new coach needs to be supported by great assistants, great development staff, recruiting & medical.

We need the best in recruiting and list management. We need a new board.

Good clubs don't collapse like we did last night unless there are major internal issues throughout the entire club. It happens to often.

The new coach and new football staff need clear air, a fresh start. We can't keep anything associated with the past decade as it is cancerous.

We effectively need to look at it as starting a new club. Modern, positive and driven culture with a winning attitude. Second best should not be tolerated.

Everyone at TC knows this.

How do we get those in control to fall on their collective sword?

I kinda like this rumour, will give even further credence to the Gooch's credentials when he plonks for a rookie coach....

Will just add another positive to the winds of change!!

keep that up NBH.

look we all know we need a clean sweep of board, been saying it for years now.
the question is, how to bring it about.

it should be a ground up re build..according to a few in the know..
we do have some positive indicators, and change is afoot.
I choose to believe that, and I also believe it is still possible to turn things around and at least be competitive and looking at the bottom of the 8 in not too long a time.

If..the board movement continues and coaching staff are top notch across the field.

I trust in Judd and Ange, to help us get the right coach with the right ideas for line staff, playing direction, and sound long term plan for development.

We are at the bottom, yes, and I also choose to believe we are going to learn from our past corrupt behaviours; modernise,
and rise up.

I hope you're right.

But you must also have the same concerns I have.

No Longmire!

Not a fan and he'll be expensive.

Go for the rookie coach and splash the extra into recruitment and development. That's where the focus needs to be immediately.

Funnily enough I don't, I'll be truly shocked if they went for Longmire
