I have so many too, its hard to remember them all;
The day Jezza got knocked out
SOS's mark
1979 GF.
The day Robert Muir went nuts.
The day Dennis Collins got punched at Moorabin.
1999 Prelim final.
Busustows mark, Busustow's goal at VFL park.
Malcolm Blight's goal after the siren.
1981, 1982, 1987 and 1995 GF's.
The day the pie stand caught fire.
The last game at Optus oval.
Walker's mark.
The day Goodes did his war dance.
Milburn knocking out SOS.
Judd did his knee.
Shane Warne got his 700th wicket.
Rick McCosker batting with his jaw broken.
The first night game between Collingwood and North.

And yep, the Minty goal was a cracker! I drove to the ground at half time, saw only 1 Carlton goal but it was worth it.

Did Mots and Mil debut that day too?
And Wallsy's first game as coach.

The three that stand out for me:

1. The 30.30.210 game. I still remember lots of little moments from it.
2. The 1970 GF. I was there with a bunch of Collingwood supporters. Bliss!
3. The Windy Hill game (1975 or 76) where we kicked 14 goals 1 behind in the 2nd quarter and 8 players were reported for blueing, including David McKay who also kicked 8 goals that day. Funniest part was when that point was kicked after a run of around 10 or 11 goals straight, the whole Carlton crowd booed.

I remember that game and would have sworn it was at P.P. but then I think i had a beer for every goal scored in the 2nd...so you know...bloody hell...

Jezza - every @#$%&! game I saw of his...it was a gift to see him....

The first time I saw Motts leap and take a perfectly timed mark...My dad and I were very happy that day (I think it was against Hawthorn).

The first time I saw Kouta gab the ball in one hand... (mate Keith and I looked at each other and started pissing ourselves laughing...a bruce "special"

Biggest crowd at Subi 52,500 (not counting about 10,000 people who jumped the fence) for the '79 WAFL GF Derby South Freo v East Freo. Still don't know how they got them in.
Biggest crowd at Leederville Oval R21 1978 West Perth v East Perth (the real Derby) 25,000 (again about 5000 fencers).
Last game at Leederville (for West Perth) 1993 , 20,000 peeps (no fencers) v Subi .

Naley was in 87. I think Mil did his knee that day IIRC

Millburns hit on SOS at Princes Park. The crowd was racist from that moment on.

1999 prelim.

Harry Maddens giraffe goal at Waverley Park against Adelaide.

Walkers mark against the Bombers a few years back.

Hey cimm, if I may digress. At the western end of Subi, the line from goal post to goal post doesn't appear to be parallel with the line at the end of the goal square. Optical illusion ? Waddya reckon.

Could be right, i'll take a look.

There was a slight change in the orientation of the ground about 20+ years ago. The goals were more to the North at the eastern end I think.

Are you Justin Murphy? If not, I'm calling bullshit on this one.

Anyway, this would be my favourite moment in football.

99 prelim, sitting in the pocket from which Lance kicked thT huge goal in the last.

Unless those EXACT circumstances are replicated in a grand final, that will be my most enjoyable day at the football.
