Aish on the radar because legendary father is a mate of Triggs
Walker from Geelong another Liam Jones in the making
Jed Lamb haven't we got enough spuds from GWS
I thought the club wasn't going to have any more quick fixes

I am prepared to support the club if it goes with youth and nothing but youth for the next 4 drafts
Give the youth a chance and give Cripps and Graham an incentive to stay

Does Silvangi really think the former is the way to go
Trigg is untrustworthy
He has proved that

I only occasionally post on here because I care about the club but if we go after early 20s recycled hacks particularly after this years disaster that will be it for me as a supporter

The club must bring in youth trust that Silvangi and co will deliver the goods
Otherwise where [REDACTED]

Don't believe any of it.

However if that were to happen, I'd give up, stop following carlton and therefore AFL.

I'll be very happy if we land Aish, for the right price. Highly rated early first round draft pick from 2 years ago. He'd add depth and quality to our midfield immediately.

Walker and Lamb, eh, don't care. Won't cost much (anything) to recruit. Could fill some holes in the list. Not going to throw the toys out the cot over recruiting those types of guys, especially when late picks in this years draft are reported to be somewhat weaker than normal.

KJ was a highly rated first rounder and three years on he can't get a game at the 17th best side that is crying out for a tall fwd or defender. Buyer beware. Aish has talent but I'd rather take our chances in the draft with first second rounders and we won't get him for a third rounder

I'd say SOS would be front and centre of all these deals. That's his job isn't it?

Keogh for what it's worth I was in the rooms yesterday and speaking with a few people the rebuild is definitely what is happening. SOS is going for kids. Also, I was assured the coach has not been selected yet. Down to 4-5 at this point who will be interviewed again. Usual names and one outsider.

A few people said Aish will go to Collingwood.

Club & Barker really treated yesterday likes it GF. I have a feeling the rest of the year is about development and list selection.

In the end it was just opinions and who really knows but I got the impression, to my relief, that the club is aware of where it is and where it needs to go. There is a genuine feeling of doing a proper rebuild.

We can only hope.

It depends on the price. I wouldnt know jed lamb or walker from a bar of soap. The sun gives half the picture. If walker is involved i would join the dots and assume the deal would be for henderson and menzel for pick 10, 28 and walker

They're names and numbers on a spreadsheet somewhere, most likely as contingency planning and part of valuation models. Would be in our best interests to get their names flying around in the press to obfuscate; who honestly gives a @#$%&! if they're replacing a name like Ellard, Jones or Watson for no cost other than a 2 year deal.

That being said I'd rather we pick the eyes out of the bottom of the draft and wind up with kids like Jonathon Marsh on our list; he looked lively for Collingwood yesterday.

Need to recruit kids that can kick a F**king footy. We have to many on our list with crap skills.

Time to add some polish to the list.

Been the issue for years. It's rule number one for Hawthorn. Kicking skills and good decision makers

Needs to find the ball first. Apart from a great running goal yesterday he was hardly sighted

Yep ... go to agree ... Draft Picks only! Can we get rid of Jones this year ... pay him out. He is filling a spot and will not make it now. Should never have come to the club. Sorry Liam.

Yep, Youth only. Not washed up fossils like Aish.

19 and finished. He must be a gymnast.

'Draft picks only' is just a load of rubbish. The Docherty deal was a steal at the time and a broad 'draft picks only' policy rules out another deal like that happening again. If we can land Aish for the right price (IMO a second round pick) then we'd be fools not to jump at the deal.
