Really this is it...we are at the lowest point...the only way is up...

really this is it...

really it...

not like it when we got Murph (remember when he chose us over Brisbane) and we thought...this is it...things will turn around...

not like when we then got Gibbs and thought great we got two number ones...this is it...really it...things will change...

actually maybe it began with ousting Elliott and getting Pagan...did some mention that that was it then?

Certainly when we got Kruise...then i remember thinking...this is it..this is really and truly it...we've turned the corner...laid the foundation..set things in order...removed the wolves from the chicken coup...

Or was that when Pratt came on board (or when Smorgon didn't)? I do distinctly remember the voices...the this is it...the vibe man...the vibe...

Or was it Judd...yes that was the big it wasn't it Juddy...Juddy chose us...and that new facility that would turn our picks into nuggets of gold...and Juddy...Juddy was ours and what we gave up was a farce really...we'd have given up more cos Judd will turn this ship around...he'll sweep away the dead wood...he'll sow the seeds for future generations...

Or was that Ratts...our own Ratts...the hometown boy Ratts...our "Shane" our "Atticus Finch"...even Parkin said this boy was it...the tide was turning...the home straight was in sight...and we made finals...not many...but we made them...imagine that...Carlton made a few finals in a row...yep things were looking up...we'd gotten over the clouds, scaled the rainbow and we feasting on our own bluebirds of happiness...

No...no not Ratts then...not Juddy then...not even Brock Mclean or 206...but MM...why remember those jumpers...he'd take us back to those heady days the days of selling our colors for a few dollars more (oh what we could do with those dollars now eh)...so that was the last this is it...wasn't it..MM was on board...we'd stolen him from Collingwood...and Judd from the Weagles..and Murph from Brisbane...and Gibbsy from Adelaide...and Brock from Melbourne...and 206 from Freo...heave ho...and really we never wanted Griggsy anyways...so this is it was then wasn't it...when MM came on board...'cept it was it...well it was...it was it...the pig in shit it...the big IT...as in "oh not not this again" it...the deja vu it....

but really this is it...oh I know we all rejoiced when John was given the reins and thought this might be a little bit of it... but really...this is it...we'll finish last (or second last) and we'll get the champion we've been searching for and this will be it...the Phoenix...the sunrise after so many sunset clauses...the big day out...I mean SOS is back and Mm is gone and Sticks has departed...hasn't he????

So this is it...we've got Triggsy and Gibbsy and no Griggsy or Juddy but with Murph and Kruise playing again the blues are back!

I tell ya this is it...no really...why the laughter? Why the rotten tomatoes? This is it...I tell ya...this time for sure...

I've been posting
Night and morning
I heard you say
"Tell him I'm not home"

Now you're asserting
But I'm still guessing
I've been a Carlton fool
For so, so long

DB don't lie
Just to save our feelings
DB don't cry
And tell us nothing's wrong at the club
don't try
To make up phony reasons
I'd rather leave (at 3/4 time)
Than never believe

If this is it
Please let us know
If this ain't gonna lead to a flag
You'd better let me go

If this is it
I want to know
If this ain't number 17 DB
Just say so

You've been musing
And I've been typing
We both know that something's
Just not right

Now you're pretending
That it's not ending
Unlike, Synbad, You'll say anything
To avoid a fight

DB don't lie
And tell me that you need Carlton
DB don't cry
And tell me nothing's rotten at Ikon
We'll all be all right
One way or another
So let me go
Or make we want to become a 2016 member

If this is it
Please let me know
If this ain't leading to number 17
You'd better let me go

If this is it
I want to know
If this ain't a rebirth DB
Just say so

If this is it
Please let me know
If this ain't for real DB
You'd better let me go

If this is it
I want to know
If this ain't leading to a Weitering/Francis combo DB
Just say so

If this is it
Please let me know
(I wanna know)
If this is it
(If this is it)
Please let me know
(I gotta know)

If this is it
(You better let me know)
Please let me know
(Just say so)
If this is it
Please let me know

it aint it until the fat board sings.
as the fat board appear to be collectively tone deaf
they may choose not to sing
lest they be taken for tone deaf fools
who should not sing
no one seems to want to let them know that they cant sing,
and so probably should not remain in a place
where singing in tune is key
but no one has the heart for it.
no one will show them the door
and how to exit graciously.
so is it' it'?
have the works underlying the coach machine been attended to?
has the disinfectant been applied?
the fresh breezes allowed to flow through?
or is the only 'it' ahead
the end
beautiful friends
the end

That Carlton Emotion.
We've had our hits and had our blasts!
To mellow we've smoked, snorted and tripped.
Beguiled on amber and red and not felt fed.
Junkies looking for puns. Desperate for fun.
Junkies like a setting sun!
How I long to be be abstinent yet Blue!

The lowest of the low is when Carlton wants to trade Chris Yarran and Henderson.

They were two of the few Carlton players I enjoyed watching.

Have to admit I didn't watch the North Melbourne game, or the Hawthorn game, or 90% of the previous matches this year, didn't see the Geelong game, Collingwood game, Gold Coast game etc., so I don't know how bad his (Yarran's) form issues are.....until I saw on the news him turning off and not marking up when that North player led uncontested at the ball. That didn't look good.

Have they thought of trying him (Yarran) again in the forward line or maybe the wing? Or have they been playing Yarran in the forward line every so often? I saw the Richmond match and Brisbane matches on tv and he was in defence in those ones..not sure about the other matches though.

We may be playing Yazz in the back line because we are tanking. With Betts/Jeffy gone and Bucks needing game time out of a back pocket it would be ideal, but strangely he is playing back, poorly and still getting a game.

Just so you know - punching Chappy was the only good thing he's done all year.
