It's poetry that Crippa was able to use Cripps' stats to own WW.

I really hate it when all of sudden our players have decided to run a little bit harder (2nd quarter)
WHY can't they do it for 4 quarters?????????????
And they decided to switched off for the rest of the game. Don't give me crap about confidence, it's all about laziness and being able to get away with it. Some of the players have been doing this for far too long.

Their freedom of switching on an off is really pissing me off.

Pro BB may just prove his doubters wrong - me included
Bell's form has dropped off & there were about a handful who appeared to not give a shit.

Big Con - no retaliation from any CFC players towards Wright when Murph was on the ground in obvious discomfort and the North flog gave him a nice knee as he walked passed. The biggest lowlight of the night!

Saw Smith give off a handball and then block the Roos player from getting to the receiver, very innovative....any chance he can teach that trick qto some of the other players?

Great example of this when Tom Bell gave the ball to Murphy then ran past him and the North player about to tackle Murph, to receive back from Murphy.

First thing, it was never going to work, secondly, we don't want Bell with the ball. We want him to block for Murphy.

Seemed to work for Hawthorn and Collingwood.

They did it once and got it right...

We've been to the same well many times and still have SFA to show for it...

What do they say about repeating the same behaviours to expect a different outcome?

For the Kangas, Swallow had 7 tackles...

Official award for the most pointless stat tonight goes to Wet Willie.

Firrito Goldstein Tarrant Thomas Wright Del Santo Garner Gibson Turner had 5 tackles between them and Cripps had 6. Does that make the Roos bad and Carlton good?

lowlight of the night was yarran with back to the ball walking away from the contest, Dal Santo sees Yarran isn't paying attention and slips away for an easy uncontested mark 25m out directly in front.

Excellent environment.. It's not the players.. Even though to the naked eye it seems like the players all want to leave because they're treacherous... Yes the players seem that way

But the club is rotten and stinks..

synners, who is wanting to leave? i'm not baiting you, so please dont go on a rant, i am genuinely curious

i understand that Hendo has been told he will be traded, and will want out becuause of that, and yarran seems to have the sooks up and will want out, but who else do you think wants out?

i really dont care who wants to leave as long it is not one of our youngsters or Krooze

I'm interested in Synners response too.....if he can be serious for a minute....
I think it's obviously hard to distinguish between poor form and poor attitude sometimes. Sometimes! The case in point for me is Menz. I still can't work out if he is going through a period of poor form which is fine for a young kid or if his desire and work rate is down.

Has Hendo been told he will be traded? If so that is utterly bizarre. Even if you do think that, why wd you broadcast it, or make that decision before season's end? If we traded hendo the pick we get is unlikely to net a player as good.

We are all talking abt key defenders, he is one, and a good one, has never been more than a workmanlike fwd. unless he is asking for ridiculous money, and geelong won't be able to afford to pay him over the odds esp if they get Dangerfield, then he should be retained and will almost certainly be better than whoeverpick 15 or 20 is which is what we wd get for him.

I agree with this sentiment 100%
The bit I don't understand is WHY a group of individuals who have dedicated their whole lives so far in the hard work it takes to make it to AFL footy would ever choose to switch off? To take the lazy option? Even if they are in an environment which maybe allows them to get away with it. Why would they want to give less than 100% when we know it must have taken years of 100% effort to make it here.
