Yarran appears to be confused about his role and is a bit hesitant to do what comes naturally. In particular appears to think playing hard means running around playing the man, throwing punches rather than being hard at the footy.

Change of scenery will be good for him.

Me neither. Put them on your foe list. It makes the site so much easier and more enjoyable to read.

I have heard Yazz is carrying some type of foot injury. I wonder if it is a re occurrence of the turf toe he'd had previously.

What a stupid post.

Re phrase
Don't play him because he has been rubbish

10 games average 9.1 disposals a game
Hardly stuff to write home about
At the moment if I had to choose between Lucas and Menzel I would choose Lucas

Your points were valid and then you mentioned Lucas.

Do it SB. There are 6-7 on here that until you cut them out you don't realise how nice it is just to read and discuss football. Makes the site enjoyable again.

Don't think Yarran deserves to play. It was frustrating watching mope around the backline at half pace.

Its not Tutt's fault he is being selected, please match committee don't select him this week.

I think tutt is unfairly maligned - yarran should take a leaf out of tutt's book - if he gave half of what tutt gives then we would all be happy.
send yarran to the reserves again to learn team spirit -

Can't see us losing this one - Hawks are "due" for a loss.

My prediction is a 3 goal win - Hawks kicking 3 late goals to make it close.

Wow it is going to be a long Friday Night...........

Jaksch and the club are playing the jungle drums for his return, but which tall makes way? Surely two would have to come out of the side.

Yarran - 25 possesions. 8 marks. 7 tackles. 130 supercoach points.

You should stop listening to brain dead commentators just looking for a story. Do something different and dont follow the views of people on here with no idea and the media crakheads and you might see things different.

He might be playing injured because from what I saw, he could barely get a jog up compared to his usual dash. Did you think he played with his previous dash? Did he play with intensity? Was he creative with his kicks or did he just play sideways? Did he look to give and go to create space? Did he remain flat footed after his poor disposal to let others clean up the mess? Did the commentators mention any of this?

I can't remember the last time he took a run and bounce, it's a great weapon so where has it gone?

Everytime l saw him play, he had an opponent on him 5m away or a zone ahead of him. 36 players in the space of 50m is pretty hard to break through from the backline. There is no point Yarran taking a bounce from the back line to kick it to no one, when our forwards are at the centre bounce area with their zone D. Plus you are playing Freo, one of the best defenses going around. Opposition coaches basically would plan every week to shut down yarrans run. He is our only dangerous player on the team. You really want to play Yarran on the HFF if you want to maximize his speed when the zone defense is broken.

Maybe you should listen to commentators, if this is your best work in justifying why someone should get dropped. I don't think you get 25 possessions and 7 tackles if you lost your dash.

He's carrying something, and it's hurting his ability to gather the ball off the deck and maintain his acceleration, but he's out there playing and giving it a crack. Hopefully him being out there is not making it worse.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but it is Murphy's 200th game this week.
Good effort and good luck to him.

Go to the about the two minute mark

Yarran jogging behind Mundy.

And again at about the 5.30 minute mark, the defensive effort against Walters.

Like I said, he may be injured because they were two instances across many in the match were he has no acceleration and is very poor defensively.

I didn't need commentators to tell me that. I saw it myself.
