White on Vickery would be a disaster height wise.

Could we do White on Jack and Jamo on Vickery?

Richmond lost 2 talls and only brought Hampson in. Their good form has come when they have 3 tall forwards.....

That'll be it I suspect.

As I said earlier in the week, it's Hampson and McGee as the form attacking talls outside their 22, so they opted to go shorter. Better to pick the talent, rather than senselessly conform to structure.

Exciting to see Fields in, but not sure he has a matchup, so expect him to do plenty of chopping out and other players covering for him at ground level.

Jamison has a solid record on Riewoldt. Importantly, Hardwick seems to really rate Jamison as Riewoldt often plays as a decoy against us dragging Jamo away from deep defence isolating our other tall defenders against their tall forwards.
I'll be happy if that continues but it would better to see Rowe come in. Getting back to the point, the Jamison/Riewoldt match up has been good for us most occasions so I wouldn't change it.

I know that Jamison has Riewoldt's number, but if Rowe isn't playing, Vickery will have a field day on White, so better to have Jamison towelling him up and running off him.

If White concentrates he can hold Riewoldt, and we'll get a better net return than the other configuration IMO.

I doubt it.

I'm a bit bullish for a win tonight - strong team in, and under Barker's watch, we could tear them up like we did under Ratts.

Haven't got Eddy and Jeffy to make Morris look stupid unfortunately. But still a chance.

Tigers by four goals. We are playing better but we will fluff crucial opportunities at important times.

I can not believe the optimism. Richmond are the best team on form since Barker took over. Our midfield will struggle
to go with theirs. This is the test for barker. If we win I am a believer. Richmond by over 6 goals

Its Friday Friday, my favorite day of the week. Off work early, blew the froth of a couple and home where its nice and warm, Friday definitely is the best day of the week

Oh yeah, Richmond ...

I think its going to be brutal. They hate us, not that I blame them, we finish 9th, play a final, and bye bye tigers

If we have a hope, it won't be in our ability, nor in anything on field per say, my theory for today is Richmond will defeat themselves with their own minds ...

Under Malthouse they pretty much knew we were stuffed and playing accordingly. But now, with new found vigor and enthusiasm, they'll be worried. Worried enough to fumble, make errors, and allow us to share a place in their heads where fear and doubt creep in.

Or

They could be completely switched on and give us a Friday night we'll soon want to forget ...

Either way, I want to see a brutal game. Fierce tackling pressure and tacking the corridor for quick forward entries. Running in packs and the ball carrier public enemy number one.

With any luck, if we brutalize them every time they touch the pill, the fear and doubt will creep in and they'll start making mistakes we can capitalize on.

GO BAGGERS!!!!!

We've won 3 games for the year. They have won 8, including over Freo & Sydney.

Our B&F leader (IMO) in Docherty is out. Big question marks over the fitness of Cripps & Everitt.

I reckon we're up against it....

What about if we lose by a kick or two?

So we are playing 3 points better than we were in Round 1?

It was a while ago but we looked absolutely shizen halfway through the second quarter and the Tigers ran away with it.

The Bulldogs effort last week was similar.

So you could be right.

Actually BV watching last week I was surprised at his lack of pace, just didn't seem to have a top gear. I would like him to get a few games in a row, but he certainly didn't have any jets last week. re Tutt, yes he is VFL standard disposal and ball handling but I do like his endeavour, works hard and tries hard which at the moment with our list gets you a game

Summed it up perfectly. We haven't been great on Friday nights either. I'm tipping Tigers by 19pts

But once again excited to see our young players exposed to the seniors.
