Don't know how Tutt stays in, should have persisted with boekhorst for a month.

I won't believe Cripps is playing until I see him run out, BB and Whiley named as emergencies if he doesn't get up.

Rowe named as an emergency is interesting. Has been up and down like a yo-yo this year but I'd thought he'd be a lock.

Just going this year is big Sam and Fields a lot better with ball in hand, not surprised no place for him.

So Whiley and Rowe in for Everitt and Cripps, I guess.

Kruezer, Murphy, Cripps our on-ballers against the ex-Northern Blues on ball division of Hampson, Lambert, Grigg.

Interesting?

I thought Tutt was a big part of the reason why they skipped through the corridor many times.

Yeah prob but he was far from our worst and I think he deserves another game this week.

I'm the last person on this site to bag players but Jason Tutt is a VFL player at best. He has no strength over the ball whatsoever. He's pushed off his kicks too easily, knocked off the ball to easily and doesn't have the required skill/pace for an outside player.
Nowhere near the standard required. I don't like being critical of players and he may well be of some value to a strong side but he is a liability for us.

BV you are not bagging him. You are simply stating a view.

BTW I concur 100%. It was a poor recruitment decision.

We're $3.15?!

Have Tigers supporters made a plunge?

Fields looks like Jack Riewoldt to me.

White on Vickery would be a disaster height wise.

Could we do White on Jack and Jamo on Vickery?

Richmond lost 2 talls and only brought Hampson in. Their good form has come when they have 3 tall forwards.....

That'll be it I suspect.

As I said earlier in the week, it's Hampson and McGee as the form attacking talls outside their 22, so they opted to go shorter. Better to pick the talent, rather than senselessly conform to structure.

Exciting to see Fields in, but not sure he has a matchup, so expect him to do plenty of chopping out and other players covering for him at ground level.

Jamison has a solid record on Riewoldt. Importantly, Hardwick seems to really rate Jamison as Riewoldt often plays as a decoy against us dragging Jamo away from deep defence isolating our other tall defenders against their tall forwards.
I'll be happy if that continues but it would better to see Rowe come in. Getting back to the point, the Jamison/Riewoldt match up has been good for us most occasions so I wouldn't change it.

Pretty disappointing to drop Boekhorst like that.

Won't do his confidence any favours.

I know Rowe has been a bit up & down this season, and White has battled honestly above his weight division in the past few weeks, but I would be surprised if Rowe doesn't play tonight.

I assume Jamo will get Reiwoldt, Rowe gets Vickery/Hammer and White gets Martin.

Cripps and/or Everitt will pull out, I reckon.

Yep, agree with all of that. White and Tuohy will take the Gordon/Martin/Deledio forward match ups.
I like the ins but I'd prefer to see Boehhorst retained over Tutt. He supplies the pace which would worry Richmond

I know that Jamison has Riewoldt's number, but if Rowe isn't playing, Vickery will have a field day on White, so better to have Jamison towelling him up and running off him.

If White concentrates he can hold Riewoldt, and we'll get a better net return than the other configuration IMO.

I think the most important question for tonite must be,

how many layers of clothes to wear, and how much brandy in thermos with coffee?

it's definitely a three dog nite in Melbourne
