I'd be more suited too back pocket, my height doesn't allow me too hold let just say a key position.

176 cm and 83 kgs. I am at the gym 5 days a week so am in reasonable shape. Just upping my fitness work now too allow me too hopefully run out the game better.

James Bond

Thinking about it I 'd say he's just under 6ft, and weighs about 93kg's. He's keen on forward pocket, but you'd need too sought it out with him, I am not getting involved in that one.

Personally I am happy to help down back, but wouldn't mind a rotation through the middle during the game.

I'm so pumped for this game!!! I was going to get a hair cut yesterday but I had a crazy thought, It looks like I will be playing up forward again, I'm playing with the idea of letting the hair go to the morning of the game and then getting it styled just like Sticks (might help??) I will not be getting one of these new age mullets though!!!

Dunno yet, Gez.

Might be the 11th if we get the Lexus Centre.

ohh shite. okay. lucky i hadn't booked any flights then.

not sure i would be able to make it on the 11th. you can appreciate that it's hard to plan with no date in concrete so apologies for not being able to give s firm answer.
if it ends up being the 18th i'll be able to come down, assuming i can still get cheep flights.

if it's the 11th i think i'll have to give it a miss, but i dont want to influence the decision. especially seems the Lexus centre sounds so good.

PJ can you PM me whenever a final decison is made and then i can start making some plans.

i'm desperate to get down for a game at some stage. dunno if i'd be much chop though. might make some good cannon fodder perhaps.

Well given we are meant to find out today about the Lexus Centre, Gez, I'll probably let you know by the end of the day.

Situation is this...

Tess, my Collingwood counterpart, recieved a phone call from Collingwood this morning. Bob Rose Oval has NOT been booked for the 18th of December. However, that does not mean it won't be booked between now and then. So we can use it, but if we rock up on the day and find that someone else is using it we play on it. If we wanted to book the ground it would cost thousands of dollars. I was under the impression that we were booking it for free. Silly me.

The Lexus Bar is closed that day but apparently the Cricketers Arms is around the corner so I'm guessing we'll be going there after the match.

My problem with this situation is that should a group book the ground on the 18th, we won't be told about it and won't find out until we arrive at the ground on the 18th. Should that happen we would have to transport everyone over to Glenferrie Oval.

What are everyone's thoughts on the matter?

Wouldn't be too much of a problem - quick walk to Richmond station, and then to Glenferrie. Or those who have cars - take 3 or 4 in theirs.

Then the stupid site of 50 or so blokes walking down Glenferrie Road in footy gear in December, begins....

Can't be bothered running the risk with Lexus Centre.

We're playing at Glenferrie Oval.

Awesome.

I'll throw up a tentative line up in a little while, depending on how busy I am.

If anyone can assist me in terms of runners/waterboy/girls, please let me know. It's going to be bloody hard ringing these changes from the sidelines with an at the moment 11 man bench.

Shouldn't you worry about a starting line up once we have had a training session..........

As I said, tentative. Not only for me to check out how many we've got, but to discourage anyone else to sign up!

That line up = far from concrete, so don't worry about that.
