Don't know, just don't think it will be Carrots.

I'd be surprised if Menzel doesn't have a break. Going like a busted arse at the moment, even before today's damage.
Looks like the coach will keep picking guys who are getting it done until they don't .

out: ellard, rowe

can't see us having 2 smalls out and 1 small and 1 tall in

if a tall has to go for jamison i think rowe would go before white

if menzel doesn't get up bring in johnson

I would think White is a perfect fit for Stringer.
Jamison and Rowe will be up against Boyd and Crameri I would dare say.

Nobody has to come in. You earn a spot to play seniors, you don't play your role to end up in the reserves. Outside of that, injury will be the only change.

Probably won't be but Cazzesman is right, he needs to keep the blood flowing through the artery not clot it. I'd be surprised if he wasn't on notice.

We should win next week and that sets us up against Richmond, which will be a real insight into whether or not we are a middle of the ladder team or not.

Really?

We might, I wouldn't have said "should".

You wouldn't have said 'should'. I might have said 'mightn't.'

In: Boekhorst, Johnson
Out: Menzel (inj), Ellard

Another week in the VFL won't kill Jamo. The game against Frankston doesn't count. He's missed a lot of footy and needs to earn his spot.

Johnson is coming to the end of his 2nd year on our rookie list. He has to be delisted or promoted to the senior list, he can't have a 3rd year on the rookie list (AFL rules). He has had a good year in the VFL and I think we'd be negligent not to have another look at him in the AFL before making the call. The time is right - he is in form, we have blokes on the LTI list (Judd, Warnock, Daisy) and Menzel likely to miss this week. I'm not convinced he has enough AFL attributes to warrant a spot on our our primary list next year, but he won't die wondering if we give him a go.

Ellard has been a great clubman, a very good player at the next level down and a hard worker. But I can't see him being on an AFL list next year. I would rather trial one of our future prospects.

Boekhorst is in impressive VFL form at the moment. He will need to keep building his endurance and body strength, but he's coming along nicely. If he wasn't a first round draft pick, I think there would be a lot more love for him! I would play him as the Sub this week.

B: Simmo Rowe Tuohy
HB: Yarran White Docherty
C: Murphy Cripps Curnow
HF: Bell Hendo Everitt
F: Armfield Casboult Kreuzer

R: Wood Carrazzo Graham
Inter: Buckley, Holman, Johnson
Sub: Boekhorst

If Jamo is the tall to come in you would assume another tall has to make way.
Which leaves one of white, rowe or wood.

Other than that would love to see ellard permanently out of the side and BB take his place.

If Crameri doesn't get up, you can probably roll the dice with Rowe and White and let Jamo warm up for another week ... but it might be a risk.

Carrots might struggle for pace... but his form in the middle doesn't warrant dropping.

Depends on the matchups, but maybe Boekhurst for Ellard is the right move to inject some speed.

Not sure who comes in for Menzel.

Wood was ok, but could also make way for team balance if more speed is needed.

Jamo should come back in because he has his bitch the following week to contend with.
Need at least one game under his belt.
Mine is out Ellard Menzel
In Johnson Jamo
Johnson sub
Shift White forward in the Menzel role

I'm all for giving him a go but is he up to it abns? Looks a bit too one dimensional to me

I'd bring in Jones to play his old side, drop Rowe and throw Hendo back.

Brockhurst in for Carrots.

Jamo in for White.

Henderson brings brains to the forward line.

Without him Cas and Jones would run into each other.

Good teams have team defence, so you win with numbers and the fashion with which the ball come into the oppositions forward line. That's why the Eagles are still competitive despite losing their two first choice defenders. It's why Freo can defend with ONE real KPD.

Menzel and Doc will miss
Boek surely comes in maybe also Johnson
Ellard will probably survive
To be honest I'm not sure there's a spot for Jamison
