Cimm, the coaches attend all the VFL games they can to see what the AFL listed players are doing. In addition, they have a set of KPI that you or I have no idea about. Yet you are critical of their selection of Ellard? In other words you preach the characteristics of the game and/or the capability/performance of its players and their suitability for selection by trained employees of the club who have actually gone to the matches to make informed assessments.

That doesn't follow your statement to Jimmae.

How great to look forward to going to the footy again.

I am an Ellard fan. More for his effort than anything else. Sides need the Ellards, Armfields & Curnows on their lists. What we need to do is ensure that we are good enough where these players are struggling to get a game more than blaming them for our struggles.
