Really enjoyable day at the G. Saturday afternoon there is always my favourite.

Effort was good but we still lost. In fairness Adelaide looked flat but it was a contest.

Positive is we look better realised from the MM defensive style. Kids like Cripps, Buckley, Graham getting full games and showing some potential.

Negatives, still a loss and we lack depth and class. Plus people thinking and "honourable loss" is okay really annoy me. Is this what we have become?

Nothing changes for me. List needs and overhaul and we need class kids.

IMO we will win another 3-4 games this year but shouldn't change what needs to be done.

I think he's implying he's only had one Brownlow winning year in 2000 and got ripped off.

No one can do that more than one year let alone every year unless you're a fit injury free C.Judd 3 votes.

He was average in 1995 when he revolutionised the game with the one handed pick up.

And Leigh Matthews referred to him as the proto type modern footballer...but what would Leigh know Monga?

And 1999 is probably erased from his pea brain.

Monga is a dick head and no one in the footy world values his thoughtless opinions.

Effort much much better

Shocking skills on display. Levi & Curnow OOF. 1AW scrubbers even Docherty who is normally polished, missed targets

Not sure the Krooz/Levi/Wood combo is the way to go

Umps stitched us a bit

Reasonable crowd given our position

BTW who is Josh Jenkins?

Should only play two of Wood, Kreuzer and Casbault

By the end of the season the team will show supporters and any prospective coach there is a core of very good players to build from.

Big hole when Simpson retires.

Henderson truly looked like he was enjoying playing for the team again.

Footy is simple if you play a brand everyone enjoys and understands.

Difficult to understand a game plan from the dinosaur era albeit 5 years ago.

Thought it worked well today personally. See how it progresses over the year though. Casboult should remain as the permanent forward for now.

I know its only 2 weeks in, and I thought a mistakes were made, ie. Jenkins, having said that, I'm not so sure about needing to find another coach. The more I see of Barker, and obviously the boys responding the way they have, I think we have found our coach already.

Tough decision to be made re Barker.. wont be an easy one.. would be interesting to know what is expected of him for the rest of the year (KPI's).

Didn't Ratten lose the last six games of '07 including the infamous Kruezer cup game... and then he got the gig for the following year because he was already there anyway.

I hope we do the process properly. No more gift jobs for the sake of convenience.

We belong at the 'G'. Glad I went.

Today showed we have plenty to work with but a bit if work to do as well.
We have some good kids with Cripps, Buckley and Graham. Boys busted a gut today and showed they are capable. Love the look of our forward line with Casboult, Krooz and Hendo. Enjoyed their work and they looked like they enjoyed playing together. Worried about Menzel to be honest, hopefully body not quite right and nothing more. Murphy outstanding and great to see Humphrey out there. What a difference he makes! Hopefully we get some belief in the group after last 2 games. Need to bring Jaksch in as well. Different team right now!

Negatives - need to use the corridor much more and mix it up a bit more when kicking out. Graham in the middle of the ground numerous times and ignored. Simmo must try and encourage the corridor run, like young Bucks does.
Juddy-doubt the champ will go on but hopefully he does because that is a terrible way to finish! Will miss the great man. Carrots, as much as I like, I think he actually is finished. Looks a shadow of himself. Hope I'm wrong. Curnow another I'm concerned with.

All and all the boys are enjoying themselves again and now we need to support them!

Great effort today and hard to be disappointed, although a win would have been nice.
Good to see a different style of game, much better to watch.
Great game by Murphy and Cripps is going to be a star.
So good to see Kreuzer back, the supporters love him. The way the players surrounded him when he kicked that first goal shows how much the players love him too.
Those umpires were a disgrace and cost us at least 3 goals today.

Simmo looked like Ang Christou bombing down the ground with the mop hair and the long sleeves.

I thought the handball game was much much better today but our kicking still has a way to go.

Other than a very ordinary patch in the 10 minutes after Juddy went off we were slightly the better team I thought.

We look much better without the Malthouse burden.

Add the class of Yarran and Gibbs and we probably win.

Does Walker ever hit a target? Always seems to kick it at the player's feet.

There were a huge number of Adelaide fans there today. Of the 32k that attended I reckon they would probably have accounted for around half.

True ....... Most here for the Public Holiday weekend

Kouta is the reason Llyod only has 1 premiership instead of 2.

Best effort of the year. Nice to see some attacking footy.

Obvious it was part coach, part players.

Crows fans very gracious when Judd went off. Contrast that to the Richmond and Essendon* fans when kouta did his knees...
