Maybe the boy Simpson

He deserves it.

But he is not in the leadership group - of those who are, only Rowe and Henderson are playing.

Has to be Simpson.

I'll spew if he isnt given the recognition he deserves.

Mooney on Footy Teams said ...Simpson SHOULD have a "c" after his name.

It should be Simmo but it'll likely be a member of leadership group. Out of those 2 Id give it to Lach.

Hope he dominates @ CHB. Sos realises the error of his ways & signs him at half time.

Seriously stupid.

How in hell does that help him or the team?

@#$%&! iidiots in the selection panel..

Not surprised. I think that was a problem pre-season. Gibbs had problems too late pre-season if I remember right.

Swans played a final last week.
They beat the reigning premiers and AFLs biggest bullies/thugs.
They are not going to back that up this time of the year.

They are hard, well built and strong at it.
Hanneberry Jack Parker....they go hard at it 100 minutes a game.
They play obsessed zombie like footy. Absolute freaks.
But I cant see them backing that elevl this week.

The Swans expect a hard it Carlton, and Carlton may give it.

You wouldnt expect to win if your Midfield group and FB are out injured.

If every player lifts 10% and Barker tweaks the game plan to allow more freedom.
...and Carlton group is competitive.
I dont think they can last 4 quarters. They might.
Buttifant would know, but doesnt tell.

KP Backs: Rowe Jaksch White vs Tiippett Franklin Read

Running Backs: Yarran Tuohy Docherty Buckley vs Goodes ....

Rucks: Wood/ Casboult vs Pike

Mids: Cripps Curnow Carrazzzo Graham Simpson.... Bell Walker vs Hanneberry Jack Parker

Forwards: Menzel Thomas Bell Walker

KP Forwards: Casboult Henderson Jones

Not bad. Need to play with a bit of ticker for longer.
Do it for Carlton.
Do it for Barker.
Do it for yourself.

Do you really think we would be the only team out when we have Yarran, Walker and Jones playing? You could have done a little research.

Sorry the photo of all the captains appeared as though we didnt have one. And dont act like they have gone to any great effort on the jumper.

No hope of a win but every chance to do the hard stuff. This game will tell us a lot.

I had no idea Jones is indigenous.

I am obviously very ignorant.

Many may think the turtle symbolises Carlton's midfield this week, but it in fact represents the long term tortoise versus hare approach of the club in its steady build towards winning 5 in a row during the 2020's. We may be witnessing the first stirrings of a Blues juggernaut.

I thought the turtle represented the speed of our ball movement and pace of our midfield group!

I had no idea either. I don't think many would. He still needs to take marks and kick goals though.

Yep agree - re-read my first sentence. Maybe its a message from the Yorta Yorta Carlton mob to put their bloke 1AW at full forward so that we actually have someone with serious football skills to kick it to.

But yeah - *Turtle* kind of exemplifies our midfield efforts in recent times.
