I became a member for the first time in order to help vote out Elliott.

Prior to that I took the position that it was unnecessary to be a member when Jack was only going to piss it against a wall.

I stopped paying for a membership a few years back when I realised the current board was a farce.

I don't see a problem at all with people using their membership dues as one of the few political statements a supporter can make that has some impact on the club.

We all make statements with our actions and we can agree or disagree on whether those actions are supportive or unsupportive.

I like to think my withholding of membership dues is a minor statement in a collective movement that in a very minor way undermines the current farce that is our club's board.

If others think that their continued payment of membership dues is some form of "loyalty" then I'm okay with that too though I would ask them to explain whom that "loyalty" is to.

I decided the club didn't need my membership when they could afford to pay out Ratten and Co. At the end of 2012 after extending him a year earlier. This when the same board knew at the end of 2010 and throughout 2011 they were going to appoint Malthouse.

Limited term for board members and a national recruiting manager.
It's a start and I'm willing to watch closely.
I'd like to vacate the current board and then have a maximum number of reappointments. 2x3yrs is ideal.
