Based on what he's said about the board it's fair to say he likely doesn't want to be the only new member.

So if Wallsy was to put together a ticket who would he/we want on it?

How did Steven Trigg get to Carlton in the First place? Does anyone here know anything about his history? what he has done before? his reputation? his business ventures??

Two genuine questions ...

(I) was MLG a member of the Board that appointed mick?

(II) was Trigg a part of the selection committee that appointed Sanderson at the crows?

Seems a storm is brewing to challenge the board, which is a very good thing. At this stage if they put up anything credible I think the current lot are gone.

But I want them all gone, Pratt, Pokies Man, Lo Guidice etc.

BTW I would welcome Sanderson applying, still young enough and probably better for his experience at the crows. Of course that would be after a proper process.

Who gives a @#$%&! what the ferals over there think, their collective iq wouldn't enable them to remember anything pre Tippet debacle.

He's been a breath of fresh air since being at Carlton, infinitely better than his predecessor.

No idea what he was like over in Adelaide as I don't live there nor follow them, but the club was universally regarded by everyone as being a well run organisation until the Tippet debacle.

Of course he would have been, Sanderson wasn't hand picked he was part of a process of interviewing and dissecting multiple candidates. Guess it's hard to understand considering Carlton has never done it in the history of the club. I'm going to let you in on something though, a thorough process doesn't guarantee you panacea all it does is reduce the risk.

I guess the disappointing thing about that is the fact that Fahour and Sayers are on the current board. Both men who've been touted as the type of forward thinking presidents we need.

No thanks. Adelaide can be a brutal club, but I didn't hear good things. He was gone half way through the season last year.

I spoke to an ex board member yesterday.
Was told ..nobody can do anything within a board when it's so about numbers.
I threw up some names and asked about the chance of them coming in.. ( no.. Not tom) I was told "these kinds of people would only consider the prospect if the board stood aside and they could take in their own team of talent "
