We might not have been on the same page, but I have to thank Mick for where I am today.

Settle down Laidlaw even I'd look good in the Swans team. Your average.

The AFL media team needs to lift its game, seriously.

Nah, he's a snake.....lmao at his ending at Collingwood now I've seen it first hand with us.

That made me lol too, perhaps for the same reason as you, perhaps not.

I think he meant to say "The Unofficial Selection Committee".

I have been a fan of Mick but I think he got this very wrong. The club had no choice in sacking him now. Will be interesting to see how the players react to this.

Wayne Brittain on SEN showing how out of touch he is; Robert Walls on 3AW sinking the boot into everyone at board and coach level, as well as potting Thomas.

Walls is floating Woosha as a name... don't have him on the selection panel

Sorry I sound a bit negative on Walls' comments; they were pretty good except for having a go at Thomas & suggesting Woosha.

Brittain was harping on about the firing culture and sticking fat.

Walls was terrific, recommends any assistant from successful clubs

Think Triggsy handled himself okay in the presser. MLG less so, but not too bad. He did look out of his depth at times, but not shockingly so.

Didn't mention the culture of hiring dud coaches?

onwards and upwards

I just hope we play a structured free flowing game plan and lets the kids( and everyone for that matter) play attractive footy

What do you mean he got it wrong? That was his intention! He didn't want to coach the next two weeks - knowing they were / are likely to be thumpings, and that the inevitable sacking would occur thereafter. He wanted them to pull the trigger today.

Those are mutually exclusive concepts. :P

Do you mean a fluid attacking game plan that encourages players to make a play on the ball/contest rather than trying to lock down and scrag an opponent?
