If posters on this thread and indeed on most threads on the TC website are looking for leaders with their own ideas and are not afraid to push them, I for one would have to nominate Synners. It is just logic.

Won't happen. The Judge is a product of that board and its patrons.

The only way significant change can happen is resignations (impossible to conceive this) or member uprising.

No, physical document with names, membership numbers and signatures required.

People also need to understand what the agenda of the meeting is, and that needs to be shown on the document.

Simple:

1) The number of board members should be reduced to a number common to other (successful) AFL clubs.
2) ALL board positions to be put to member vote. Anyone can nominate. Including existing board. Each can put together one A4 sheet of paper layout out their credentials, their vision, their plan if (re)elected.
3) Funding for the machinations of conducting that vote (ballots etc.) to be covered by the club due to ovewhelming demand from club members.

1) Has happened; constitutionally capped at 9

2) That's a board spill, anyone with 2 years membership to the club can vote and stand, but they'll need to give notice prior to an AGM, as well as go through the INC process even if they nominate themselves at an EGM.

3) They already do AFAIK
